This convenient electric kettle is so good. I carried it to Italy and Made my tea in it

The "electric kettle" works fine. It has four heat settings and a digital temperature display (which I assume is merely "approximate," as the temperature sensor obviously isn't immersed in the water, but that's to be expected). It beeps, somewhat quietly and unobtrusively, when the set temperature is reached. The lid screws on/off, but basically just a half turn or so. There's a bail type handle on the lid that sits flush when not in use. The fact that it's a relatively low-wattage device means that I don't have to stop and think, "What else is running on this circuit?" before plugging it in, because a standard 15-amp circuit is capable of handling 1,800 watts, and I don't put more than a 1,440-watt load on one except temporarily and occasionally (e.g., using something like this product for a few minutes at a time). Plus, it still only takes a few minutes, more or less, to heat water to the desired temperature.Two things kept me from giving it five stars: The product is tall and narrow - which means it's impossible to get one's hand inside it for cleaning purposes. And the little rubber (silicone?) flap over the AC cord connection DOES NOT properly cover the opening. So be very careful when hand-washing this thing. It would have been nice if the cord was six feet (or two meters) long, but that's not a huge deal.

The water heats up quickly, and you choose from three temperatures. It hold a little more than a cup of water.

Heat water no problem but it takes like 10 minutes or longer to get the water boils.

Apparently either these do not come with a power cord or mine shipped without one. Pretty useless if you can’t even plug it in to use

We use this when we travel to warm our babies, milk, super nice and handy
