The product seems to be very well made and of high quality.It works exactly as it should, read the reviews before you judge by the ratings.This uses your existing awning, and if you have the right awning this works great.The tent is water resistant, however your awnings ability to handle rain is irrelevant to this product.Set up is super fast. The windows provide great breathability. The floor material is very thick. Zippers are smooth enough. And the fitment is good. Plenty of space inside and for the money it's a great value.Be careful of wind, and like I said above your awning will determine if it can handle rain.

Love this awning annex room/tent. We weren’t sure if it would work with a different brand awning we already had, but it FIT LIKE A CHARM!! We shifted our awning forward a little on the roof rails so the suburban door aligned with the interior tent opening! We haven’t used it camping yet, as it’s basically winter now. I’m sure it’s going to be AWESOME! It’s made with good quality materials, strong zippers, and a removable floor. We overland and sleep in our rig, but now we have the option for more space, extra people, changing clothes; you name it. For us, it’s WAY BETTER than a rooftop tent option. We timed it; it took us 16 min to set up the attached awning and annex room after initial installation. Not bad!(P.S. The negative reviews are from those that thought this was a stand-alone tent, which it is NOT and is clearly stated. You MUST have the same size awning. Ours is an 8’ x 10’ - these are hard to find!! Great bug free add on for more space or to serve as a mudroom. Definitely going to need to customize with some long leg extensions, a better means to seal trailer and tent and a way to remove inside panel so it extends easier to my trailer, but that's on me as I'm using it differently than intended.Update 9/19/24. Rained last night and despite setting everything up squarely, it didn't shed the rain and the pole bent and collapsed. Sucks as this was first day on trip and was looking forward to using it.

Purchased this unit after purchasing their 8’ x 10’ line. So far works exactly as expected.If you’ve ever owned one of these know, the door does not exactly match up with your vehicle. I wish someone would come up insert that you could cut yourself to match up to your vehicle.Once you get the hang of putting this thing up you could actually do it pretty quickly with two people. We like it because it has a rubber floor that means nothing gets wet when it rains.All of that being said, I would love to talk to the manufacturer or some additional tweaks which I think would dramatically improve the usability of it. But I would recommend it.

Works out fine for a quick weekend camp-out. More than enough room for 2 people. stayed dry even in a heavy rain.

The tent/room seems very well made. Thick walls and floor. Zippers work very well. DID NOT COME WITH POLES! Can't understand. Have set up a return/replacement with Amazon. Will see if new one comes with poles. Wasting time and money.This is designed to augment the same company’s SUV awning that provides the poles shown in the images. It does not come with poles as a freestanding tent. They are missing a market.
