Works well, easy to install. Used it a handful of times. I do see just a little bit of blackening on the sides of the burner tray, but that was when the flames were right against it when the wind kicked up. I may try it without this to see if there is a noticeable difference.

Top Quality Product.
This Air Mixer Valve is made to the highest standard. The quality is excellent. Once installed, the flame burnt without any evidence of soot build up. I recommend this unit to anyone who wants clean flame in their fire pit. This is the Fire Pit that I have built. The glass surround is also purchased from Amazon. Another great product.
