The birds were a gift and part of that was the packaging, which was ruined by tape and stickers ☹️ Review: Delightful pair of Lovebirds - This is a petite pair of Lovebirds that will nestle happily in the palm of your hand. The oak is nicely turned, smooth and interesting. Unlike other pieces from the Kay Bojesen range, the legs are fixed, and nothing can be articulated but the pair of Lovebirds still look great on the windowsill whilst waiting for their permanent position to be finalised. Kay Bojesen was a Danish designer who loved wood and, in the 1930s he started to design wooden figures, starting with a dog and adding to the collection over two decades until by the 1950s he had created a diverse family of animals including a monkey, hippopotamus (used as a pencil holder by the designer) and bear. His aim was to create something that would feel good to hold and be a playful representation of the animal rather than an exact match. The birds are very well presented in a gift box, nestled within shredded paper and with care instructions warning to keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. A delightful gift that is great for Valentines Day.

Lovely gift
These birds are lovely and would make a great wedding or anniversary gift. They are a lot smaller than the songbirds so are good for filling a small space.

Lovely little oak birds arrived quickly
Love birds were good quality and they look great with the bigger song bird also in smoked oak. Arrived much quicker than expected from Amazon EU and with Prime able to track it’s progress through Customs
