First, if you buy this you are trying to save $300 vs the factory bars. If you want simple and perfect, buy the factory bars. You get what you pay for. I bought this because I wanted to save money and put a friend’s Yakima box on my roof - Kia Telluride.Here’s what I think.Pros - The parts are very well marked and high quality. No damage upon shipping. Solid. If you can read you can install this. Every part tightens well and screw driver included with pack works very well. I don’t recommend installing at noon in sunlight - blinding and hot.The Cons. 1) The instructions are so-so. This takes a good 45 - 60 minutes to do well. Not 10 minutes. 2) The sliding cover on the lock - I get the idea that they want to protect the mechanism from the elements but I fear it will break. 3) No idea how far apart to install - lots of trial and error. Eventually I installed the back bar about 15inches from rear seam and front bar about 32 inches from the back bar (inside to inside). Estimated measurements would be nice. 4) I would install and tighten the feet on the rail before tightening the cross bar Allen nuts. They want you to do the opposite. Bad idea. 5) The tool they send to tighten the Allen nuts doesn’t fit under the bar. Luckily I had a bag of Allen wrenches that were smaller to fit under the bars to tighten the nuts. I’d send pictures but I’m not giving Amazon access to my photos.Verdict - I’m 1000 miles into the trip. Bars are rock solid. No issues. This is a good value if you are handy. An hour of work to save $300. Maybe this review will save you a little time as you install. Happy travels.

I STRONGLY advise against buying this product. It is made out of a fiberglass material that has hairs that literally imbed in your skin for days - several members of my family are dealing with painful, itching skin irritation after using this to transport our paddle board. I can’t even believe they sell this produce legally. I never write reviews but I don’t want anyone else dealing with this if they can avoid it.

Love the bars, but can not close my sunroof with them on there :( .

Great fit, sunroof still opens without an issue. They are super quite even at highway speed.

For my sport age 2024 the only think it’s we can not open the sunroof

The media could not be loaded. These installed with no major issues (adjusting the forward/back spacing and getting the ends tightened down can be tedious) and seem well made. Our only issue is wind noise which was made worse by adding a roof basket, experimenting with fixes for that. I did make a modification to the front bar, cut off the plastic around the inside clamp and lined the bar up with the rear sunroof bar and this allows the sunroof to be fully functional and with a 36x48 basket keeps the basket behind the open sun roof so you can enjoy the sky and your road trip. -1 star because I had to modify it myself, should have been done in the design process.
