I purchased this bed specifically for my cat to use in the colder months. I wasn't sure she would like this bed or even know what to do with it. Luckily, she curled up in it immediately. She became sleepy and relaxed very quickly, so the claim that this bed is "calming" is accurate. It helps that she loves to burrow. The 24" bed allows my cat (who is roughly 10lbs) to have plenty of room to move around and lay whichever way she wishes. There is also plenty of room to use a small blanket (I use baby blankets in her beds) in the bottom.As for the repeated complaint about the hood of the bed not staying open - just wash and dry the bed. This arrives vacuum-sealed and squished flat as a pancake. I ALWAYS launder clothing, blankets, bed linens, pet beds, anything - before use. There are a lot of foul things that can come on new textiles such as manufacturing and/or warehouse grime, residual dyes, mystery chemicals, human effluvia of the worst kind, mysterious smells, and so forth.Laundering and drying the bed before use eliminated the pancake problem, the warehouse smell, re-fluffed the bed and propped the hood open perfectly, just like in the photograph. I launder cat beds/cushions frequently, not only for cleanliness, but also because it keeps them nice and fluffy. Mr. Pancake is a welcomed breakfast guest, but he makes for a terrible cat bed.Overall, the cat approves of the bed, it washes and dries well, and seems durable enough for long term use. Most importantly, it will keep her warm in the cold months. I purchased this bed when it was on sale, and for under $20 it is quite a nice product. The pink color is true to the photos. A tad bid neon, and a tad bit loud. The cat and I both like the psychedelic pink, but if your decor scheme is not of the trippy variety, then just know the pink bed will stick out like a sore thumb in your house! I will update this review if anything changes.

One of our cats loves it & claimed it for her own. We moved recently & got this & I sprayed it with catnip spray & she took right to it & this kitty is pretty skittish. She lays on it, but does not go inside, but I think that is because it doesn't stand up on it's own, but again it's still a big hit with Blackie.

One of my cat's has anxiety sometimes. He likes to hide under sheets and sleep that way. I thought this would be perfect for him. Turns out, it is perfect for him. I got the 16 inch version as it would fit him snug, the way her like it.This product is as advertised, and is of great quality.

Just came today, so my dog is still making her mind up about it, but the top does stay up. It’s got a band at the top with a wire in it, and you have to spend some time at first shaping it, because it’s going to be flattened from shipping. I did deduct a star because the padding in the bottom is really lumpy and kind of sparse, but I’ve been kind of fluffing up the lumps and it’s starting to fill out some. In fact, I recommend just giving the whole thing a once-over and shaking/working out any compacted stuffing and filling in any bare patches. But the material is very soft, and it doesn’t have any odors, so that’s good. The cats like it, too!

The media could not be loaded. This bed is for Baxter, my 4 pound, 3 year old Holland Lop bunny.The bed, itself arrived tightly rolled (shrink-wrapped) in plastic. Cutting the plastic away from the rolled bed wasn’t easy for me as I was trying to avoid cutting into the bed. Once free of the plastic, it begins to resume its shape. With fluffing, the bed looks pretty nice.I placed Baxter in the bed for his photo and video. He stayed for several minutes, but that was it. He is more interested in jumping on the bed, which collapses the hood, which does not pop back up on its own. For a bunny, Baxter is not interested in destroying it or peeing on it. He’s actually a very good house bunny. Time will tell if he ever uses it for what it was intended, which is cozying into it for rest or comfort.The bed looks like it would wash and dry easily. It looks to be made well. I ordered the grey to better match Baxter, but the color is not grey at all, but blue fibers mixed with white. I am disappointed that the hood doesn’t pop back up on its own. I will be doing a lot of re-fluffing to pop it back up as it gets squashed by Baxter.Overall, I love the fluffy-ness of it, especially the white part-it’s softer. The base is also very thick. The blue/white color isn’t what I expected, but I’m not that picky. I’m not sure if I will keep it or not.If I could go back, would I order it? Not likely. The hood doesn’t pop back up on its own which is a deterrent for Baxter who needs it to be up if he’s going to attempt to get in the bed.

For the price you get more than what you'd expect, at least I/we did! 🤩 Not only is it ridiculously SOFT & plushie...has a zipper for easy cleaning washing BUT it's Bigger than I thought it'd be! And well...if you can't tell, I think our ol man Wookie 💯 APPROVES!! 😄🙏🏻 Seeing my soon to be 13 year old dachshund burrow n snuggle in it fills my heart 🥰 his comfort means EVERYTHING as he aging, eye sight going & no longer jumps up onto anything...which is best for his long spine, less risk. The sides are 'sturdy' yet still plush so they offer great support! And even the top-blanket is very well secured & is bendy so you can adjust to you or your dog's liking (up or flat) 🙂 He can easily climb & slide in and out of this plush bed and completely SINKS INTO IT 🤗 HE LOVES IT!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we are also considering getting a 2nd for our pug 😁 THANK YOU 🌟 IT'S WORTH IT!

Puppy liked it. Only issue is keeping it open for her to get into. The top of clamshell does not stand up as expected that it should. Very soft and cozy
