Quite expensive for a phone case but have used this brand for many years ( originally recommended to me by Military personnel) keeps the phone safe even when dropped and when falling out of back pocket into the toilet! (As long as all ports closed)

Having recently purchased an iPhone 14 pro I did some research into the best cases for construction and commercial environments as I’m an electrical engineer who is on site a lot. This case stood out to me and as it was discounted ten pounds I coughed up the high price tag.The first complaint I have is the packaging of the case and supplied accessories. Due to the fact that this case boasts an IP68 waterproof rating the case comes with a screen protector. This would be no issue for some it would be a plus, however due to the fact that all that comes with the case is a small advice note and a microfibre cloth there is no way of applying this case dust free. I realise to many this isn’t such a big deal but when the case cost £70 you would expect at least something to tackle this problem. My advice would be to GET SOMEONE ELSE TO FIT THIS FOR YOU.My second complaint is the durability. This is advertised as having 5x military standard drop test. I would highly doubt this as upon delivery of my first case there was a small crack in the camera protector. This firstly invalidates the IP rating and also could lead to photos being poor. I realise this most likely originated from delivery but if a £70 case can’t survive a simple delivery how will it survive a military standard drop test.My third complaint is looks and feel. This case may be tougher than most but it is certainly not pretty. Now I’m aware this case is not meant to be pretty, and I’m also aware it would take a vary skilled designer to make any iPhone 14 pro pretty but still they could have made it feel premium. The best feel there is is the silicone around the top edge of the phone. The rest feels very tacky and cheap. Whilst the recycled plastic maybe sustainable it certainly isn’t nice. Also be aware SCRATCHES APPEAR VERY EASILY.To conclude whilst I am yet to see whether this case will stand the test of time I would probably not purchase this case again. I think the price is far too high for what you get and that it doesn’t live up to promises.

I took my phone with me on a paddle board and used a third party elasticated holder to put it round my neck. The holder pinged off just minutes into my paddling and I watched my phone bounce off the board and into the sea! I searched for hours for my phone and in a massive streak of luck the outgoing tide revealed it 4 hours later with a fully working phone, with just a tiny splash of water inside the case!!Downsides of this case are that there is a tiny bit of plastic that you could use for a lanyard, but a past case demonstrated that this wasn’t 100% secure as the lanyard came out (hence the 3rd party holder this time).I would love for OtterBox to improve this!Also it is hard to close if you have a screen protector on, and I would recommend taking it off if you can.

Only had this case for 1 month but I am happy with it. It has protected my phone when I accidentally drop it. Only down fall is with it being waterproof tight people tend to struggle to hear me properly when on a phone call, but talking a bit louder helps. Other than that I would recommend it, the quality is really good and the built in screen/camera protecter help keep my phone scratch resistant. Reading other reviews I haven’t had a problem with the screen/camera protecters getting scratched. Time will tell. I also have no problems tapping the screen through it either. Would recommend from experience not having a glass screen protected on underneath as this makes it harder to tap the screen. Fits great in my pockets and isn’t bulky. The appearance of the case is nice, I went for the green and yellow for a change.

It is easy to fit. You test for waterproofing before you fit to phone. Which is a good idea as if it is not you can return it for another one.Only thing I have found is the screen scratches.

Best iPhone case I’ve had by far!Water/sand proof too.

Place your phone in it and you will be happy and proud of the eye-catching look and colors . Touch the back of the case , you will feel how thin and unreliable it is . Bottom line , if the looks and face protection of your phone is your main concern , buy itHowever , if phone falls on the back , no guarantees at all .

I bought the case as it was waterproof and wanted to use the camera. The cover covers ups the lens so not good for pictures. I thought being Otterbox they would have tested it thoroughly.Would not recommend buying unless dropping your phone is the main reason. Taking snaps is not great. Opening and closing not great. To charge the flap is good but need to open it with something sharp.

I like everything about it and so far I don't have any dislikes!

I have been a LifeProof fan for years. Now that OtterBox has taken over, I was a bit concerned but, I can honestly say there is nothing to worry about. The quality and craftsmanship is spot on LifeProof! The color is great and I know my iPhone pro is fully protected!

I like these Otter Phone Cases. I’ve been using them for years. The part I loved the most was the value for the money.

A must-have for protecting an iPhone

I have now tried this phone case twice and it's failed within months. First, the glass used to cover the camera lens is not protected enough and becomes hazy as it's rubbed on clothing over time. This causes photos to be unclear. Super frustrating. I thought perhaps this was my fault the first time so I bought a second case and was careful to not let sunscreen or anything contact the lens cover and it still hazed out over time. Then the case lost its waterproof capability and it turned out the camera lens cover came unglued. The good points are that the case is relatively slim and still rugged but overall it's not a good design. It's unfortunate that Lifeproof sold out to Otterbox.
