Bought this as my dog had an ear infection and a hot spot on side of face - thought it was better than using the cone of shame - normally my dog hates hating anything on him but he happily paraded around the house with his donut on I have a big 38kg golden retriever and bought XL size I think it was a tad too big should have bought the Large size maybe . Pretty sturdy and easy to inflate.

My dog hated the cone and this is a better option as more comfortable. Well made and stays inflated for a long time. You do need a balloon pump to inflate it I couldn’t blow it up without. Depending where you need to restrict access not always suitable for instance he could still reach halfway down legs and paws

Fit perfectly round the neck of my Staffordshire Bull Terrier without any issues (she slept fine in it) although looking at the shape etc it could also be used as a travel pillow when the dogs finished

I needed this to stop my big Bernese Mountain dog from licking a post surgery wound on his 'knee'. I'm pleased that it sticks out wide enough to stop him from being able to reach that part of his leg.I would personally prefer a wipe clean surface to the collare rather than fabric. TThe 3 stars are for the fact that the fabric does seem to be very thin and damages easily - Chester has been wearing this for 2 days and already I can see it is wearing in places. How well this will wash I'm not sure - I may have to hand wash to be on the safe side & who wants that gaff?I'm not sure how long that fabric is going to last, makes me glad I bought a second collar when I got this one.

Our dog has got injuries on both elbows and we couldn’t stop her from licking her wounds so we decided to buy this vet collar instead of the traditional neck cone. It works perfectly for our dog. She doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable while wearing it and she can have a decent nap “in her pillow”. She can’t reach her wounds either so overall very pleased with the purchase.

This was a god send for my dog who recovered from surgery as is super comfortable, easy to attach to collar, inflate etc. only problem is it wasn’t as strong as I was hoping and eventually the Velcro straps tore so ending buying a similar one from pets at home

Overall pleased with this. Thankfully we had a tyre pressure machine which helped blow it up. Couldn’t do myself.It’s nicer for the pet to have this type rather than clumsy cone. However, didn’t stop licking all together but helped. He was happy to wear it for a week which helped with his problem

Useful for when he keeps scratching in the warm weather.A selection sizes would have been better.
