Made with what appears to be real wood! NOT laminate!Same size and height as a standard plastic step from box store ($10).It comes packaged as a kids stool. Assembly is easy and fast with included tool.It does feel sturdy but not 450lbs sturdy. The non slip feet are slightly too large and the sticky part sticking out picks up hair (easy to cut off excess). Screws are visible, there are no beauty caps or plugs.

I ordered this stool for my 7 year old son so that he could use it to reach cabinets to get glasses, reach the sink better to brush his teeth, help me cook, etc. This stool is great for all of that. It’s very sturdy and it comes with rubber type grippers that you place on the bottom of the stool legs to keep it from sliding. Pretty simple to assemble, it’s only 3 pieces of wood and 6 screws. They include a small tool to help you. My son loves it and I would definitely recommend!

This is a very nice small step stool. The package include four pre-cut wood pieces, six screws, one L shape screw driver, four little pieces of silicone footpads and a piece of assembly instruction paper. The product description page states that it is made of birch wood. The birch wood has very good benign properties, with good crushing strength and shock resistance. So this stool should last a long long time. The stool is clear coated with varnish and has no odor.It took me 10 minutes to assemble it, using my own screwdriver. If you use a power drill, it will take just a few minutes, simple process.As seen in the pictures, the dimensions of the step stool are: 12 7/8 inches X 8.5 inches X 8.0 inches. The thickness of the wood pieces is 9/16 inches. I weigh 130 pounds and when I stepped on it, the step stool isn’t wobbly at all. I also rest my feet on it when I am sitting at the computer chair or couch.All in all, this is a very sturdy step stool and I am very satisfied.

Was originally looking for a small step stool just to be able to reach the higher cabinets and this was great! It was super easy to put together, 6 screws and tool included! It had 3m anti-skid pads so it would stay in place. I was however only able to use it for a few days before my kid decided to use it for himself. It's super smooth so no worries about any splinters getting caught so great for kids or as a step stool.

This is a nifty, multi-use, solid wood step stool. It was super easy to assemble and did not take long at all. It is of above average craftsmanship as you can see in the photos. It is sturdy for its small size and works as a handy step stool not just for kids but for adults as well. It is attractive looking enough to be used for decorative purposes. This is such a great value for such a versatile, all around useful solid pine wood item!

This stool is small but very strong and sturdy. The installation instruction is quite clear, and I finished it with no problem. I happened to have some glue handy so I added some glue and then screw the parts together, but this is actually not needed. The wooden parts are fine-finished, very smooth, and painted. Only one remarks: the instruction manual does not mention about the 4 self-adhesive tape (included) but I think they are for the legs, so I put them on. Another 3M tape is included but also not mentioned. No big deal.Overall: A high quality stool, useful for sitting on or stepping on. Highly recommended.

This is a simple pine wood step of pretty good size. Lightly varnished, and just as shown and described. Versatile and useful this will support adults easily and it’s simple enough for a child to assemble. Securely boxed and wrapped, this would make a good woodworking project to buy for your grandchild. Easy, everything is precut and finished and nothing dangerous to use to assemble. In the end you have a nice solid step for any number of uses around the house, stepstool, plant stand, a riser to tie your shoes in the morning, lots of uses.
