Lava® Lamp - 14.5'' Disco Fever Reflective Base - The Original Motion Light - Silver Glitter and Blue Liquid - Item #2016

I have multiple Lava Lamps and this is one of my favorite ones. The "disco ball" base and top are very cool, not reflective but still cool. The glitter inside is very fun to watch and warms up quicker than the wax lava lamps. If you collect Lava Lamps, I suggest picking this one up.

The one we received was not the one we ordered. We received a yellow one. My 7 yr old child was happy with it, so I didn’t pursue a return. Other than this issue, it functions like a lava lamp.

My item was broken

This would be a great gift! It casts a lovely glow and is very soothing to watch. I love the disco base as well! It's unique and very pretty.

The media could not be loaded. It arrived packed with some charging cables and Styrofoam balls, and the exterior packaging was not damaged at all.The Lava Lamp package was damaged and had clearly been opened before. I've bought brand new Lava Lamps before, and there are two pieces of molded Styrofoam packing for the glass reservoir. The top Styrofoam piece was missing.The lamp base and cap were both dented and misshapen. The cap was missing a significant section of the "mirror" decal. I was able to reshape it somewhat, and it worked when I plugged it in, but this was sold as and charged the price of a new item. What I received was clearly not new.

The media could not be loaded. The shell of it is NOT made of any mirrored glass like you MIGHT think it'll be, it's a shiny decal on a regular flat metal lid to a lava lamp. It's not ugly but it's not what you expect just going off the photos and the box. The light bulb it came with burnt out after the fourth time I tried to light it. In fact, the only reason I remembered to write a review for this is because I had to come back to see exactly the size to get more bulbs. It takes a regular lava lamp bulbs (I just... gotta get the type right to look for it at Walmart, yknow...) The glitter in the lamp is quite pretty, it's bigger and shinier than most other glitter lamps. This lamp will put glitter reflections on your walls while other glitter lamps don't because they are such a fine grade glitter. All in all, it's nice. Not perfect, or great but it's... Good. Just buy extra lamp bulbs with it if you can, you cant ever have enough bulbs for lava lamps. Even if mine was a halfway-dud that lived long enough to make it past QC, definitely get more bulbs with yours.

It doesn't move the same way, but it is an engaging lamp. Set up is quick, quality is there.

Bought for a birthday and good light along with a good sight! Worked much faster than the lava lamps that actually did not ever work
