Good stories very much in the style of CD. There is little of the flamboyant but the writing and content is very easy to read and flows well. Would recommend to all followers of Mr Holmes

A nice stroll through the lives of Holmes and Watson well written and enjoyable throughout a great escape from everyday life

I highly recommend this collection of short stories ,well written and keeping one guessing as to the outcome until the end of each story

This book consists of 7 short stories. There are no real taxing brain teasers in any of these stories. Nor are the characteristics and dialogue of Holmes and Watson exactly as Doyle.s.Though they are not so far removed as to be unrecognisable. And while the stories did.nt leave me guessing too much, they were all enjoyable to read. All in all , I enjoyed reading the book and the stories. A very pleasant escape for a few hours. Good fun.

An engaging writing style, these short stories are well crafted and enjoyable.

As one who possesses hundreds of volumes of Sherlock Holmes pastiches, I find it is very easy to fall into a pattern when I begin a new book or story. Up powder is to expect that the story will move more or less in a straight line. And a short, a horrific crime is committed, Holmes and Watson are called in to work their magic, and usually including some verbal slaps at The Scotland Yard regulars, using his gifts, Holmes will bring the case to a close most of the time. The stories presented in this volume turned out to be very hard for someone who is expecting a somewhat linear progression of plot. In fact he gets what he deserves when realizing his confident predictions of outcome are not just wrong but tremendously so. Future readers may wish to make predictions as to how various stories turned out. I did not do well at all. This writer has a tremendous touch and I look forward to many more of his offerings.

A delightful Sherlock Holmes collection for any fan. The stories are mild compared to more intense and sensational stories, but no less enjoyable. Conan Doyle's style is beautifully replicated. Don't read this expecting deep intrigue. These stories are for relaxation and pure enjoyment.I highly recommend this book.Christa

Good collection of short stories ... all or in the feel good formula we love with Holmes and Watson on the case ... Of course we feel good because they aren't after us ...

Absolutely brilliant ! I have read a lot of Sherlockiana and I found this book quite mesmerizing. I hope the author will soon gratify us with another one.
