They don't work at all apart from aggravating neighbours. My children can't stand the high pitch whistle they give off when activated. I personally can't hear it, must be an age thing but they're definitely all in agreement that they can hear it loud and clear. I tested it to try and trick them in case they were mistaken but it's real. Also, can't use on the front lawn as the bright flashing light is annoying the neighbour opposite. I also watched cats, dogs, foxes and a hedgehog happily ingnore the strobe and whistle. Don't waste your money.

We had to take out a tree on our front lawn, when we did so a local Tom cat decided that the new soil was his toilet. As soon as I put this out there, it stopped. Unfortunately the flashing was bothering my neighbor but by then the cat had stopped so all good!

It works well, but is continously on. It is over sensitive and comes on at the slightest bit of movement, including rain. Works well in daylight, where sunlight can keep it operated, but battery is drained when comes to evening. This means it doesn't work during dark periods. Shame. Needs to have sensitivity looked at by the manufacturer.

Very effective but is triggered at the slightest movement or if something is in its way like a tree branch blowing in the wind.

Set up couldn't be easier. Put in place with no cats coming into the garden. Stopped working so sent back for refund, which was swiftly agreed. Reading back on the reviews, this seems a regular occurrence, have since purchased a more expensive model.

As with other reviews, after 24 hours use it stopped working properly - it would stay in continuous alarm and not stop unless turning off at the switch. There is a serious quality/technical fault with this product given how many people report the same issue. The only reason the product seems to have a good star rating is there are a load of international reviews for a completely different product (plant pots) which is very misleading!

I was very dubious about this at first. However, after about 4 weeks of usage, this thing works perfectly. The strobe works with the cats as well as other animals and the dogs don't come into my yard anymore. It's perfect discreet and the battery and charging via solar works perfectly

Product has stopped working after 6 months, the solar panel has stopped working and no way of complaining or having a return.
