Best clay yet!!!
I use clay most days. I saw a how to video and the guy said he uses this brand I looked it up saw the price was so much cheaper. Said no way....so..... brought one used it. Immediately ordered 3 more in other colors then ordered 5 more in black. My only issue is I have to watch what I touch when working with it due to the dye... but, hey I know how to wash my hands. For once cheaper is worth more than the namebrand. Worked for trees and jewelry. After writing this review I have ordered 6 more,2x. Consistently I am impressed.Update have brought alot now. Still great .

soft and workable, fantastic detail
Great Polymer Clay holds detail really well; affordable price yields superb quality most importantly it will not crack as you bake it at 250% on a conventional oven. I will buy it again and again.

Bakes to a smooth finish but tough on the hands.
I like how smooth this clay looks but it is so hard--and dry--that it hurts my hands to work with it. It is like trying to cut through rubber with a butter knife. Also, it cracks (instead of stretching smoothly) while you're using it and won't stick to itself, so it is frustrating if you're trying to anything thin or curvy. I ended up having to use Sculpey (which is grossly sticky and messy) for layering and this brand just for tiny details and carving. The first brick of it that I initially used was great to work with--which is why I ordered this set of 3 bricks--but all 3 bricks in this set were hard and dry. Guess I'll have to stick with other brands.

Very bad product
Bought this product because of the affordable price. This product is oily and that makes it stick to whatever surface you are working on or with; cutters, cutting knife, tile, etc. It is impossible to remove it from your work surface without it distorting extremely. I work regularly with polymer clay, primarily Sculpey, and it distorts slightly. Mont Marte is worse to the point of almost being unable to use. Also, you can bake most clay on paper. Mont Marte, probably because of the excess oil, sticks to the paper. You have to soak the piece in water to remove it. I tried mixing Sculpey 1/1 with it hoping it might make it usable. It did NOT. As I had to use it to learn the problems and I mixed it with another brand, I can't return it for a refund. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

Nice to have the clay workable for so long,
made small white butterflies for a cluster set inside a picture frame

Durable pieces, but stiff clay
I bought this as the price for the amount seemed too good to pass up. It is still a good value as baked pieces seem of good quality, but the clay itself doesn't seem to soften up much at all when worked. It remains pretty firm and unyielding, so I've had to use tools to shape it more than hands.

Not usable
I’m not sure if it’s just because I’m inexperienced with polymer clay or if maybe my batch sat in the warehouse too long but it wasn’t usable. I sat for over an hour just trying to make the stuff playable and then got half of it done and couldn’t even roll it out into a flat disc with a rolling pin. Right out of the box the stuff crumbled like a hard cottage cheese and it’s now all over me, my floor and my table. This is the first time I’ve used polymer clay but based on the tons of videos I’ve watched just trying to figure out how to get the stuff to roll out, I don’t think that’s normal.

Sticky and the color comes off
This clay is so hard to work with. The black comes off onto everything. It's super sticky and getting it out of intricate cutters is extremely hard.

Best quality of polymer clay I’ve tried!
I run my own art business Turquoise Door Art Studio and run many camps with adults and kids from 5 and up! I have tried so many products and art supplies. The kids love working with this clay and so do I. It’s so smooth and easy to work with. It softens easy in your hands, smooths easily with minimal cracking. Even left out for a bit and worked tons it doesn’t dry out. The surface is perfect for painting. I already ordered more.
