Alen BreatheSmart 75i Large Room Air Purifier with Antimicrobial True HEPA Filter for Allergies & Dust, Graphite, VOC's / Smoke / Cooking Odor 45watts

I purchased this unit to deal with high mold. I just received this unit yesterday and set it up. I have it set to manual as I want it running at max efficacy for a few days to see if I can impact the air quality in my home.The fan seems to be turning itself up and down on its own? Even on "turbo" it makes very little noise but there is barely any air moving out the back of the unit? I press the power button turn it off and then there's this huge increase in noise and air movement.....more like what I would expect from a "turbo" setting. But, then it stops. If it were set to automatic that would make sense. But on manual it is doing strange things all on its own. This is an expensive unit to be so buggy right out of the box. Sending it back before it becomes a long-term headache.

Received this Alen breathSmart 75i purifier today,02-10-21. When I opened the box, I found another box inside, a perfect fit. This inside box was the original factory box. The factory box had been cut opened and the top and front was held together by a nylon shipping band. When I finely got the box out from inside the outer container, I descovered that I had been sent a USED purifier!!!! I pluged the purifier in but it would not come on, DEAD! I looked for the instruction manual, but NONE WERE TO BE FOUND!!!! I called Amazon and talked to a customer service rep. He stated he was sorry,(BIG HELP) and I could return it for a FULL refund. GEE THANKS!! Apparently they send out merchandise like this all the time. BEWARE of this item and company! Order from a reputable company!!! NUFF SAID!!

The window to return it is only a few months. There was no warranty with the purchase offered. No replacement or compensation at all is provided. Calling Amazon they are sorry there is no manufacturing information submitted to have it fixed.The machine worked for one year. I paid 850. for the machine it cost me 2.50 per day to use it for one year. I don't recommend purchasing the brand or expecting any help from the seller.

Terrible. Stopped working after 2 weeks.

So I bought this 75i and the 45i mostly due to the lifetime warranty. However I decided to return the 75i because the box was damaged upon delivery. Which I did open and plug in. The 75i was making a small but noticable sound coming from the inside. Maybe the fan motor or something. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement. After they sent I started to think about why this 75i didn't have the output like the 45i which I have kept. Alen told me that it's supposed to blow out like that on high. It really was a disappoinment honestly. I paid almost $600 for 1 unit and for it to not be blowing a good amount of air from the unit was a little absurd to me. So I refused the package once it arrived and now it's going back. I would say if you're looking for a unit to move air get the 45i. It does a great job so far. One downside to both units is that the app. that Alen is releasing. Well it's still not available. I figured the i in the 45 & 75 was for intelligent but no app thus far. Which I didn't order them for that anyways. I just wanted to let everyone know that might be buying one.
