My foot fracture is slowly healing and my Podiatrist recommended buying a rigid sole insert for my tennis shoe. I purchased this insert and use it in whatever shoe I’m wearing. Prevents my foot from bending. Better than a boot or surgical shoe. Highly recommend!

This Carbon Fiber unit is firm, and it does give support, but it was too hot to walk on very long. It was heating up my skin on my foot. It almost felt like it was burning my skin. Yes, I was wearing socks.

First, make sure if you need a pair, you buy a pair. I did not realize I bought a single sole, but gave it a try. This is too flat. I need a very stiff sole for my shoes, and even putting this under the insole that came with the shoe, it raises my foot up too high (since it's not contoured like a foot) which them makes my shoe incredibly tight.

There was nothing to dislike, it really did the job for me.

I have arthritis in my right foot that is very painful. My orthopedic doctor said to get this type of insole. And wow am I glad I did! The pain in my foot is so much better because now the bones don't rub together when I walk which decreased the pain. But, beware that you get the correct size! I got a size too big and I have to return it for the next size down. It says in the information not to go by your shoe size, but to measure your foot. So pay attention to that!

My wife's foot doctor recommended the carbon insert for turf toe for her lift foot and it works so good she ordered one for her right foot.

This did exactly what it is intended to do; it made my shoe stiff so that my arthritis would not be aggravated. It does tighten the shoe up a little bit, which is a little bit uncomfortable, but manageable.

My Doctor recommended these for a foot injury that I had. Unfortunately they were so stiff and uncomfortable they ended up cutting off the circulation in my foot so I could not wear them. However, if you measure them correctly they do fit to size but I would recommend bigger shoes I guess.
