Perfect for my toddler for Halloween

I ordered this for a Halloween costume I was planning this year. It said that it can fit women. Technically it can. The wings are worn by slipping your arms through two elastic loops. But these wings are a lot smaller than what they seem to be in the pictures. They are too small to be proportionate for an adult female body. The wings would be a much better fit for a child of maybe 8-10 yrs old, at the most. The wand is made of plastic and I had no problems w it. I'm just disappointed that the wings are so small.

The photos don't really capture the lovely iridescent nature of these wings. If you watch the video you will see that they shift in the light from clear fabric to a magical green. I found the elastics comfortable to wear. I don't have much use for the magic wand, and it isn't that remarkable, just shiny plastic. I am looking forward to being an absinthe fairy for my husband with these wings and a tutu.

These wings are decorated with a pretty shade of green, with the main part being a white-see-through fabric. The wings are cute, but the size would be better for kids. I'm 5'2", and the description says for girls and adults. The elastic bands that go around the arms and shoulders are rather short. Therefore, the straps pulled under my arms. As such, the wings sit up fairly high on my back. The top of the wings jet above my head, however the bottom half sits on my lower shoulder blade. They look a little funky from the back because they are up so high. I tried to reposition them, but then the top of the wings sit too low.The wand is one of those cheap ones that are silver with a star. They're the type you can find on Amazon being sold in bulk for kids' parties. Perfect for a little girl or boy who wants a set of wings. They're very cute, just not big enough for an adult.
