I have it set at the bottom of my bed as the first step up to a bench then the bed. Easy to get down to sleep on her blankets (she needs more space now). Enough space for her to turn around on it. But, it is most useful getting her in the car. At 66 lbs, she is too heavy for me to lift. It's the perfect size for her. Cover it with a rug of the same size due to the holes and tape it on. Note that I did buy a very nice ramp, but she wouldn't get on it. Too narrow. This works perfectly for her. Not light for me to carry but fits in the trunk when we go to the vet or anywhere she needs to exit the car. Glad to have it.
