I do wish the end caps were also metal. I already broke some of the plastic ends.

My husband is quite pleased with this t-square. The size allows for larger piece work and the adjustable angle will make for easier project completion.

This thing appears really nice until you actually use it. I tighten the thing down as tight as I can and it doesn't stay square. T SQUARE. At the very least it should stay square.

It works for me, may not for you.
I got this today, love it. I see 2 CONs, the packaging...This T-square is 48 inches long and 2 inches wide. The T part folds down to sit parallel to the body. It came in a box that was 4 FEET x 3 FEET...it was the only thing in the box...why Amazon...WHY? Second CON is that the body of the T has a bit of play when it is locked down at it's max length. At shorter lengths the play would be less obvious. I can work with this for the application that I want it for (sewing material) but I wouldn't use it for plywood. Drywall would be okay, easy fix if it's a bit wrong.Pros: I got this for my sewing room cutting table for when I have to design and need straight edges. It's perfect for that, has little lips on the T part that sit on the table so the square doesn't roll away on you because gravity works. The measurements are easy to read (old grump eyes say so) and the body is 2 inches wide giving you a good surface to put pressure on when marking or cutting.
