You can get cheaper and better quality elsewhere. While the torso fit fine, with good extra space, the arms felt like they were for a 10 year old. Uncomfortable mostly at the armpit., and the cuffs / sleeves had rather poor stitching inside.

Great shirt, well made and looks good with excellent material. However, the cuffs are ridiculously small. They have two buttons but you will not be able to use the second button as this will make the cuff impossibly small and did not even fit my wife's wrist. The first button makes the diameter of the cuff about 20cm diameter which just fits my wrist in no more. I cannot wear a wristwatch with the shirt as the cuff will not fasten. While I appreciate the style of the shirt is to keep the cuffs on the wrist to create the baggy sleeves as is correct for the shirt type I feel the manufactures could be a little more generous with the cuff to accommodate people with larger wrists especially as they have gone to the trouble of making it two button. If you have thicker wrists be careful.

The measurements given for the shirt are very wrong, this was bought for a friend for larp and it was that tight they couldn’t get there shoulders in it let alone the rest of them

I deliberately bought the shirt a size too large having experienced 'imaginative' sizing from suppliers in the past. This, however, was spot on. The material from the package is quite stiff - like a thick cotton - but that bodes well for its longevity. It arrived with two ties for the neck; these are not thick but seem sturdy enough for the task. I bought the shirt to wear with an informal highland rig and I think it will do very well for that purpose. Had I intended to wear it under a formal jacket I think I would have had to be more accurate in measuring the size. The XXL has a lot of cloth!All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

Larger than I expected but I will try it on and may find it comfortable. I bought it to go with day wear for informal occasions. The next one is at the end of the month. However I am puzzled by the colour. It is supposed to be beige however I think it is white and when put against my normal white shirts it looks white. UPDATE - I have now worn the shirt and found it both comfortable a good looking with several comments how it looked good with the Kilt and 5he tweed day jacket. Thank you

As I only purchased these shirts, I have not had a chance to wear them to any extent, but having tried them on I found them comfortable, and just as described, and will be a good alternative to the full Highland Dress for less formal events.

Really liked the shirt - lovely quality and fit - unfortunately without and thongs leather or otherwise to thread into the eyelets

I bought this for a night time wedding reception where I wanted to look more casual with the kilt rather than go the whole hog with waistcoat and jacket. It's a heavy, almost canvassy material. My wife describes it as like a boiler suit. I like it. It feels like you could wear it to poach cattle in Glencoe and then hide out in the Lost Valley overnight and still fight off a few Campbells the next day.It is a well made and robust shirt and great value for money.The only downside is that when people see you in it the expect a high standard of Ceilidh dancing.
