A unique blend of vitamin C and bioflavonoids
Nutri Advanced’s Vitamin C + Bioflavonoids offer a solid option for those looking to boost their vitamin C intake. The formula combines Esterol, a unique blend of vitamin C and bioflavonoids, including rutin, quercetin, and proanthocyanidins, all in a non-acidic, highly absorbable form. Ester-C, a gentler version of vitamin C, ensures that even those with sensitive stomachs can enjoy the benefits without the usual acidity. The added bioflavonoids are a nice touch, complementing the vitamin C for improved absorption and providing a fuller, more rounded supplement. The three bioflavonoids — rutin, quercetin, and proanthocyanidins — are well-known for their antioxidant properties, offering more than just your average vitamin C.Each capsule packs a punch, and with 100 in a bottle, you’re set for quite a while. The quality is evident, and while it may be priced slightly higher than some alternatives, it feels like money well spent for the level of absorption and extra benefits provided. If you're in the market for a reliable and effective vitamin C supplement, this one earns my recommendation without hesitation.

Advanced But Expensive Vitamin C
At the current asking price of £45 per tub of 100 capsules you have to ask yourself what makes this worth the price for this very expensive Vitamin C supplement? The tablets contain a few other components, Rutin, Quercetin and Proanthocyanidins from grape seed extract which are all anti-oxidants which are said to have multiple health benefits but what I assume you are paying for is Pureway-C (trademark) Vitamin C which is a lab developed vitamin C that has been clinically proven to have a 233% higher retention rate in the body with no adverse side affects. In use, the large capsules are easy to swallow with no aftertaste but I am confused as to the correct dosage. In this advert it says it's a 1 per day supplement, but then in the photos it says 1-2 capsules twice a day, and then just to add more confusion, the bottle I received says 2 tablets twice a day! One tablet per day will give you 844% of your RDA compared to the top dose of 2 tablets twice per day which gives 3376% This seems excessive to me so I think I'll stick to one per day especially seeing as Pureway-C is supposed to stay in the body longer.Overall these are a high quality high tech vitamin C and bioflavonoids supplement and at 1 capsule per day which means they'd last 100 days I think they are still at the top end of the market but a reasonable price. At the dose stated on my bottle of 4 tablets per day which would mean it only lasts 25 days then this is just too much and well beyond what I'm prepared to pay each month for a vitamin C supplement.

Another supplement for anyone light on fruit & veg
Over the past 25 years or so we have seen a general decline in health and some reports suggest we are the victim of processed foods which can be light in essential Vitamins and minerals.I went vegan 8 years ago and it upped my vitamin C levels from a woeful level I had previously. However my partner is not vegan and is light in Vitamin C . HOWEVER SIMPLY ADDING A SUPPLEMENT CAN SOMETIMES NOT BE ENOUGH DUE TO THE WAY SOME PEOPLE STRUGGLE TO ABSORB THE VITAMIN CThis is the reason we see on this product the addition of "Citrus bioflavonoids". These are a group of naturally occurring compounds found in citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons, grapefruits, and limes. They are also present in other plant-based foods like berries and some teas. These compounds are known for their antioxidant properties, which help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. Bioflavonoids are the reason it can also enhance the absorption of vitamin C.The price point of a quality supplement may put some people off and this is no exception. Taking 2 per day will last around 50 days and this is about 80p per day. However at that price I think it is very good value, particularly with the addition of Citrus bioflavonoids. My partner has no problem taking them and are easy for her to take, since she empties the capsule into her morning breakfast cereal. She has taken these before and definitely noticed an improvement in her daytime tiredness and also energy levels. If like many people you are unsure about your own Vitamin C levels then get it checked and if low then consider this (or other similar products) that are B Certified, VEGAN, GMO FREE , GLUTEN FREE. This is important and as a result gets my top rating. 😁

Vitamin C works
I have awarded this item 3 stars on the basis that the main ingredient, vitamin C is administered in the form of a single daily tablet at a cost of around 40p per tablet; not cheap compared to other similar products on the market which contain solely vitamin C. From reading the supplier's notes, it appears that the bioflavenoids which are included in this tablet help with the absorbtion of the vitamin C in the same way as eating citrus fruit: there is a clue there! I tend to eat lots of fruit but not a lot of citrus fruit and therefore it should help me ensure that I take the maximum quantity of Vitamin C possible. I would add that it is very difficult to overdose on Vitamin C, so an orange or grapefruit too many, or even a sackful should not impact on my internal chemistry, but it might on my bowel!I must admit that in terms of value, the main constituent part of this tablet is Vitamin C and I could purchase 1080 standard Vitamin C tablets for the price of 100 of these tablets, giving me just as much benefit but without the flavonoids. In terms of the flavenoid content, the manufacturer does not indicate the actual amount per tablet, nor do they provide any evidence regarding how their product aids health; there certainly is no evidence of their testing of the product in clinical or any other trials.I have given the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt, however, having visited their website and searched for Vitamin C and bioflavenoids, my search revealed no articles and therefore I can only conclude that their comments regarding efficacy are at best anecdotal.
