Be sure to watch my video in this review for a demonstration of how fast this speedlite can consecutively fire.Right out of the box this Flash Speedlite worked instantly when I attached it to our Sony A7IV camera. The velvet soft case is a nice classy touch as well and a great protector for the flash unit.The tilt head is very sturdy with angle locking that is well built and solid.The Softbox Diffuser comes with it's own zip pouchcase and fits perfectly and easily onto the flash head with a Velcro latch. It diffuses the light very well and the material on the diffuser is rugged and strong.Also love the fact that you can update the firmware via USB cable to PC connection.We put the flash through some rigorous testing with multiple consecutive firing and this flash kept up no problem. Although it's not TTL or HSS compatible, it's a great manual flash for the price range that it's in. As usual, NEEWER once again has produced a great product!

appears well made. just be sure that you know it does not work "automatically through the lens". it is a manual flash which may not be suitable for all users. good light intensity!

I’ve been getting back into photography and I want to start learning how to use a flash in my photography. I suppose I would consider this an entry-level photography but it has all of the features I need to get me started. The one thing that seems to be a drawback is the fact that the flash doesn’t seem to recycle as quickly depending on the power level you set it at. The default 1/254 power level seems to work for most of the situations that I need without having the photos be completely blown out. I’ll continue to use this and learn all of the in’s and out’s of the using this flash to supplement my photography. If I find anything that is less than ideal, I’ll report back. As of now, I’m very happy with this flash.

My SB900 is finally giving me switch issues after 1 1/2 decades. This is a good enough alternative for now. Easy to use.

It wasn't that long ago that I was paying $400-$500 for speedlites that aren't as good as this one. Neewer continues to put out good quality photo gear at great price points.This flash is no exception. It is simple to program, has excellent brightness, and syncs well with my Sony system cameras. All of this at a tremendous value price. Big thumbs up.

The NEEWER NW620 Speedlite Flash provides a lot of useful functionality to add flash photography option to my Nikon camera. The unit is quite bulky and requires 4 AA batteries (not included) to operation. It provides a variety of functions including multi-strobe, bounce and zoom. The flash also supports external power so we don't need to worry about running out of battery. Overall, an affordable alternative to the more expensive Nikon flash.

It takes forever to recharge the flash, it eats through batteries in about 10 minutes and the plastic diffuser piece broke after two uses.
