Works without leaking.
Tried the short ones that are straight & the 90 deg versions. Both leaked and made it hard to position the bottle as needed. This one does not have any of the problems the others did.

Better than I thought
It worked excellent. Nothing to worry about it was very easy just told the 20 lb bottle upside down put the little bottle in a freezer for 15 minutes and figure the rest out it just pretty easy.. it doesn't seem dangerous or anything I got to get a scale though.

Propane transfer adapter
This attachment works perfectly for refilling the refillable 1pound propane bottles. It works exactly as described . It takes about two minutes to complete the propane transfer from my 20 pound tank to the 1 pound tank. If you want to save a lot of money refling your own 1 pound bottles, this is exactly what you need. I use the refillable bottles from Amazon. A little costly to buy , but pays for itself quickly.

It Works!
After reading many reviews of propane fill adapters I decided to try this one. I received it the next day. Having several empty 1 lb tanks I was able to try it out as soon as I received the adapter. All four tanks were completely empty. With a small scale measured each tank prior to filling, writing the empty weight on the tank paper label. After connecting the adapter to the 20 lb tank, inverting the tank and purging the line, I was ready to screw on a 1 lb tank to the fill adapter. I Slowly opened the ball. You can feel the liquid propane flowing through the hose. As the flow slows, about 30 seconds, I turned off the ball valve, removed the small tank and weighed the tank. It would register about half full (8 oz) plus the tank weight. Next I used a small Philips screw driver to push down on the top valve of the 1 lb tank to purge off some of the built up pressure, then reconnected it to the adapter. I had to continue performing this procedure 3-4 time to fill the tank to 1 lb (16 oz) plus the empty weight of the tank. It worked very well! I recommend doing this outside far away from any exposure to sparks/fire and to use gloves and eye protection.

Great product
This is great. I’ve been using those short ones for years, but now I’m hooked on this one. Makes life much easier when filling bottles.
