Amtech - 280mm (11in) Bent Nose Pliers, 90 Degree, Non-Slip Handles

Very handy, should have had one years ago ! It may not be a particularly well finished/ground item, as some people have noted - and I don’t suppose it will ‘last forever’ but it is very good value compared against mainstream ones and it I have no complaints - it works well. I have used it a lot for holding or tightening nuts in awkward locations.

I thought i would save a few quid and change a blown fuse on the car. Nope, besides having to contort my wrist past the boost pipe, then wrap it around the pipes it was in a tiny space. (Bloody Renaults) Managed to get the old one out but for the life of me, could not get the new one in. After much swearing, a mild flesh wound and laughter from the family I gave up, and drove with the spanner light on until these bad boys arrived. Took 30 seconds with these to insert fuse. Great bit of kit, and handily doubles as an excellent deep disgorger for sea fishing. Easily gets hooks out of fish before you return them.

I bought this to grip the base of a partially recessed spotlight socket that is on a short wire so I could twist and fit a replacement bulb. It did the job perfectly. Build quality is fine for my purposes.

Great buy got a plastic bottle top stuck down the shower tray pipe next day delivery the pliers came it was a bit of a headache up until then grabbed the edge of it and with a little bit of force it flew out, this was a life saver so now it's earned a very special place in my toolbox. 😃

A great set of pliers that got a broken light fitting out without the need for the headlamp to be removed. An easy grip and go and removed a faulty bulb holder stuck in the headlamp. Allowed a replacement to be put back and DLR up and running again

Absolute quality product

I wasn't expecting much at this price. My intentions were to use these like a precision pry bar because I didn't want to use my nice cir-clip tool to adjust a belt tensioner. These are very functional. The joint is not "over tight" like some cheap needle nose pliers can be; sometimes the joint goes loose after a short while. The nose is aligned correctly and has deep and sharp hashing. The grips are just right, not too soft, not too hard and look like they will last a long while. The reason they get a three star is because of the ugly state of the metal handles not covered by the grips. It reminds you that these are cheap tools, the uneven forging and grinding that only took off the big chunks. Another ding is for the hashing that failed when trying to grip a screw head, it is hard but brittle and won't last long. I bought a cheap pair of pliers cause I planned on abusing them, and I got a little more than I was expecting. Job done and these ugly pliers are going to the bottom of the tool box till the next need for disposable tools arrives. I would have to spend near 15pounds more to get smooth grinding, hardened vanadium steel and a cutter. These Am-Tech pliers are lucky to get three stars.

Great value

habe die Zange bestellt um an schwer zugänglichen Stellen Schläuche und Kabel zu verlegen. + sehr stark gebogene Spitzzange -Qualität die Zange wurde nie kontrolliert oder gar nach Fertigung geöffnet, an den Seiten entstanden beim ersten Öffnen sofort Metallspäne. die Biegung der Spitze wirkt minderwertig(nicht genau 90°), schließt nicht gleichwertig an allen Stellen etc. Zange ist extrem schwergängig. Das Griffmaterial ist minderwertig. 3 Sterne weil einziges derartiges Gerät am Markt, und der Preis die Qualität rechtfertigt. Für unter 10€ sollte man nicht zu viel erwarten. Nützlich wenn man sie in seltenen Fällen zur Hand hat. Aber nicht vorzeigbar. ;)

Pinze ottime e robuste, ordinate per un lavoro ma non mi sono servite poiché molto grosse, ma la colpa è mia che non ho letto bene la descrizione. Visto il prezzo esiguo non le ho restituite tanto sicuramente prima o poi mi serviranno
