Having bought the electric shaver cheaply using cash & loyalty points I was surprised by how good the razor is. I would never use a non branded part on my face. Braun was bought (made in Germany) and is perfect. Sharp & does a superb job.I would never use a brand I don’t know. For me, perfect.

I hadn't replaced the cutting head on my Braun shaver for about 5 years. I only did so because the original foil wore through in several places and started cutting my skin when I was shaving. But I had also realised that the shaver's performance wasn't as good as it had been when first bought and it was taking an age to shave properly. So I found a replacement head on Amazon, ordered it one evening and it arrived at my local collection point within a day or so. My shaver now works perfectly again! Efficient, quick and no cuts! I've decided it was a false economy to continue using an old head for too long as the new foil and blades are so much better than the blunted blades and damaged foils of the old head. In future I'll replace the whole head every year or two. Lesson learnt!
