Susan Bates Yarn, Metal, Assorted Colors, 5-1/2 in

Just started crocheting, bought loads of hooks as I loved all the different styles you could get. Then someone mentioned Susan Bates ones on a fb crochet page. So I thought I'd try them. Well, OMG!! I thought hooks were hooks!! These are fantastic, no catching, no snagging, I can crochet twice as fast as the wool glides across and through the yarn. I have a pencil case full of hooks I'm never going to use again. These are flippin amazing. Don't bother with any other brand. You're jyst wasting your money.

i always heard about susan bates and because i had the chance to buy the set,i gave it a go.well good for me !they are perfect and even if i have a huge box full of crochet hooks,i always go back to my silvalume.i am very happy with them:light ,smooth, gentle with both hands and yarn,sturdy.i would definitely recommend.

These hooks are brilliant! I've tried a few different crochet hooks and they haven't come close to how smooth and easy they are to use, I just wish that they had a bigger set. I will definitely keep buying these hooks for future use! Thanks

Best crochet hooks around. Easy to use and grip wool very well. Sturdy and don’t break.

I find these hooks grab the wool much better and speeds up my work. Its Susan Bates for me from now on.

These are a tad short for me ( I have hands like spades!) and feel a little uncomfortable to use. Also I notice stitches eithe slip off or the hook can be a bit 'clumpy' when trying to push through a stitch and my stitch flow isn't as smooth . This may be down to the fact I've only ever used boye style hooks for years before buying these...so I'll see how I feel after some more projects.I imagine if you learn crochet with these you won't have the issues I have. We all get used to our favourite hooks!

great price.i found this easy to use. came on time i have no complaints at all. really recommend it. looks better than the picture and the quality is great

Dudé mucho en comprar estos ganchos porque llevo mucho tiempo usando con mango ergonómico.Pero estoy muy gratamente sorprendida y satisfecha con ellos.El diseño de la cabeza del gancho hace que entre y salga fácilmente del tejido, haciendo la labor más amena.El mango me pareció cómodo y se siente bien.Si los recomiendo.

Absolutamente recomendables. Las utilizo cuando la labor NO me permite el uso de agujas con mango ergonómico como las tulip o clover que, con diferencia, son mis preferidas.Estos ganchillos de Susan Bates tienen muy buen precio y la forma de las puntas favorecen el trabajo. Cuento con ellas en mi colección.

I have gotten many crocheting hooks in the past decade. These were my first, and they are still my choice hooks! I find the shape is the most efficient at ‘hooking’ and the aluminum quality is perfect for every type of yarn. The colors are also convenient, I can tell which hook I need from a distance. Moreover, the colored version of this set does feel better with yarn vs the gray version (I own both) so if you aren’t sure, pick color!
