Ameriwood Home Franklin Accent Table with 2 Drawers, Yellow

Great little table. It is the perfect size. Easy to assemble, had it together in no time. Drawers slide in and out easily. It is a sturdy piece, not flimsy at all. Definitely worth the money and looks great.

We ordered two Ameriwood Home Franklin Accent Tables in grey that arrived in two boxes unharmed. Kudos to all the people who handled them including the driver/delivery person who placed them at our front door. There are LOTS of separate assembly pieces neatly packaged along with instructions. My husband who is very handy put them together, but he would advise all to read the instructions as you go. A previous review suggested using glue as an extra adhesive step, so we bought Gorilla wood glue, clear drying. The first one took hubby 1 hour, second one 45 minutes. We needed to wipe them all around with a damp rag. No specific odor, just maybe new wood smell. For the price they are fine and look well make (heavy too) and luckily ours did not have any scratches or missing paint. However, they do not have a lacquered finish on top, just matte paint, so we put felt on the bottom of our lamps and use a coaster for drinks/glass of water, etc. I would highly recommend these nightstands.

I purchased the emerald green and wow, these side tables are beautiful. Mine arrived perfectly packaged and have zero damage. They were easy to put together. I would buy these tables again without hesitation.

Great for kids or adults nightstand. Not too sharp of corners. Drawers move smoothly. Easy to put together.

I bought two of these nightstands to match an existing bed frame. The bed frame is “antique white” and it was challenging to find something that looked like a match, but these are PERFECT. They are the exact same shade. The only thing I added was new hardware. They are excellent quality - especially at this price point. Also, they were really easy to assemble. It took me less than an hour to assemble each one without any power tools. Finally, they are a great size for a nightstand. I was so pleasantly surprised with these.

Packaging: packed very well; ample Styrofoam to protect all edges, fairly heavy which yields a challenge carrying upstairs. Solid and sturdy piece of furniture. Looks great at the bedside. Affordable without looking cheap!

I was skeptical ordering furniture online and not being able to return it if I hated it once I put it together! That wasn’t the case with these! They are perfect! Exactly as described! They are well made and sturdy! The material gives off expensive vibes! I love the color! Having two drawers gives plenty of space! I highly recommend these night stands!

Easy to build

I searched high and low for the perfect bedside table. This one seemed to fit the bill until I opened it and built it. It stank and still stinks a few weeks later. Such a waste of money.

I bought the grey ones (x2). One box arrived a bit damaged and I was worried about the interior of he box. Turned out to be completely fine! Whew! The shipping box is pretty heavy of course. It is a 2-drawer nightstand in each, but the delivery person had trouble lifting it, understandably, and the box ripped. I think build handles or handle holes into the shipping box and stop over-packaging the hardware and its a perfect item!Originally I had purchased 2 smaller white nightstands for my guest bedroom and once assembled they looked so puny and wrong. A few months later after much deliberation and proper time put into SCALE OF FURNITURE I bought the grey ones (x2). One box arrived a bit damaged and I was worried about the interior of he box. Too small. No drawers. A bit too low. The bed has a light grey headboard so my nightstands needed to be some sort of grey. I will find a home for my tiny white ones elsewhere! Probably as plant stands! These Grey ones with 2 drawers are about 4 inches higher than my dumb little ones. They are wider too. I consulted Google regarding dimensions for proper bedside tables and Google was right. On general if you can go bigger, do. Assembly took me 2 hours alone for the first one. Why? Because it is so well packaged that individual screws are shrink-wrapped and I couldn't get the ( excessive) packaging off the individual screws, wood dowels, C-shaped screw locks etc. I'd say an hour of very fiddly very difficult unpackaged of just the hardware. My MDF " wood" pieces were perfect, no scuffs and packaged well with multi pieces of Styrofoam. They unpacked easily. The hardware, beautifully labelled and organized on separate card stock was impressive at first but I seriously struggled to get each screw or dowl out. After 2 hours I had a lovely nightstand. Decided I'd build #2 the next day starting with freeing the hardware from its overly-packaged shrink-wrap. I timed myself AFTER I'd freed the hardware. It took 44 minutes to build. One person. It is recommended to have two people build it but thats not necessary. they just looked wrong. Too small. No drawers. A bit too low. I was happy to see everything was in great condition when I took each piece out of the box. Most times that I've bought furniture like this, there are always damages. It was very easy to build, I did it alone. The drawers fit, open and close perfectly. I am always leary about build it yourself furniture that have drawers. It is a taller night stand which is exactly what I wanted. It is also a little heavy and seems sturdy. It was delivered by Amazon and the delivery person was kind enough to bring it upstairs and leave it right at my door. That was very appreciated. As for durability, I will update after some time because I will be looking to see if it scratches easily and if the quality remains as good as it seems to be. Right now, I love it. The one suggestion would be that the Ameriwood include extra screws just in case. There is not one screw that you can afford to misplace. It also came with an allen key which was needed nowhere. All I needed was a screwdriver.
