These are really good skin shades and have a great coverage too. Great value for the money

Good quality, colours are great, ideal gift.

I've tried several makes of skin tone pencils and these are by far the best. I am colour blind and need a set to give me the ability to replicate skin tones. The black edition pencils give me that ability. The are so nice to use, very buttery and cover really well. I would recommend these to any one who struggles picking the colours from a large set of pencils. The only thing that they could improve is putting the name of the colour on each pencil. I will buy again . Highly recommended

I have several different makes of colour pencil, the ones I cut my teeth on are Prismacolours, I purchased these as an easy small set for portrait lessons at my local art class. I find the colour saturation rather poor and the pencil is hard to lay down its hard work to build up any depth of colour. I'm going to go through my second set of prismas and put together a better colour group in that brand.P.S. I have just tried these on Pastelmat and some sanded paper and the results are very good. So maybe it was the paper that was wrong and not the pencil, I am going to work futher but on a different surface to my sketchpad and hope for better results. I have improved the star rating as a result.

I didn't buy these for skin tones but to add to my nature colours. They are nice and they blend over my spectrum noirs, so I am happy. However, for me the triangle shape barrels are no good; I turn my pencil round a lot whilst outlining of defining, to keep using the sharp point, so these don't turn as easily or quickly as round barrels. I guess it's a personal thing but there might be some one else who does what I do.

I bought these with the FC black edition thinking I might as well get skin colour set and thought they would be unique colours. Some are but there are also some that are in the black edition. As for using them I find them never y waxy.

I really like how nice there go on paper and how natural they are and how well they blend in with other colours as well
