We have been shipping Ecosphere's for many years and the shrimp have proven to be pretty tough. What really hurts the shrimp is when the package is left out in the cold.

I work in an office with dim lights and no sunlight at all. Would the sphere be ok in such an environmen?t

I learned the hard, tragic way and put the sphere on the window sill at work (not even direct sunlight) over the weekend. Came back to red boiled shrimp on Monday 😞

What's the replace recharge?

Mine died, I have to pay 28 dollars to get them replaced? Sure they have a guarantee but its expensive. How long can they live in the box?

It is not recommended to leave the Ecosphere in the box for more than a couple days at a time. The Ecosphere's algae needs light to generate oxygen.
