All my life since driving I have been a pioneer fan. This was my latest update and I just love the big screen. Went into a 2005 Chevy 2500hd. Without any amp changes from my last head unit this thing sound way better. Gonna sound even better after tuning on the amps.

Installed into my Honda Accord 2017 LX. It was not easy, I had to use an eBay seller to assist with using the provided cables in this product to create the appropriate adapters. That and a little bit of splicing.This is proper carplay, scaling and all. Other integrations that some companies sell may not be as I have experienced myself.

The good: looks great in my car and has good soundThe bad: the lag, the lag is everywhere. The touchscreen works terrible, there is a lag every time you try to do anything, feels like a really old and cheap tablet.Android auto volume stops working for some devices (volume bar looks grey out). Reconnect, or pairing again doesn't fix the issue.Too expensive and with lots of problems. Not happy

Install requires lots of planning to take advantage of all the options on this unit.It sounds and performs wonderful.

The media could not be loaded. The features included and the audio quality is great and the screen has very nice viewing angles, and wireless CarPlay is nice and connects quickly, however, the user interface is SO slow and sluggish it can be overwhelming, after the latest update it improved a little bit but is not the fastest and responsive stereo I ever had, for example, turning volume up or down it responds like a 1-1.5s after you pressed the button (no matter if the command comes from the steering wheel controls or directly from the screen keys) I have mixed feeling about this unit but is actually the cheapest one for a screen of this size.Kinda could recommend it if you want a great audio quality product and use the basic features such as CarPlay, but if you feel like you want a headhunt with fast response and smooth transitions maybe is not the one I'd recommend. It's like a bittersweet feeling about this item.

I had the Sony XAV-ax8000 and that thing would freeze anytime would call on CarPlay. My wife’s Sony XAV-ax1000 does the same thingThis Pioneer is leaps and bounds better!!! The speakers are louder, the wireless CarPlay works perfectly, it has hook ups for your backup camera, dash cam, rear dash cam, aux, usb and more. I’m just amazed how smooth and amazing it is. I would buy this thing 100x again.

This unit work great. Loads up quickly and functions exactly like a CarPlay radio should. Very intuitive controls. Most cars with CarPlay and screens still have a knob for volume. I wish it had a volume knob. There’s a button for volume up and down and then a slider shows up and you can use that.You also have to install a microphone to use the phone function. I also purchased a backup camera to plug into it and it works flawlessly.All in all it’s a great unit.
