I bought the nest camera second generation and i cannot view the cameras on a pc, i can only use the teeeny cell phone. how do i view on pc?

The google home app can NOT BE VIEWED ON A LAPTOP OR DESKTOP COMPUTER. This camera can NOT BE VIEWED ON THE NEST APP AND CAN ONLY BE VIEWED WITH THE BUGGY GOOGLE HOME APP. NOTE THAT GOOGLE IS DEACTIVATING ALL OF THE OLDER BLACK NEST AND DROPCAM CAMERAS ON APRIL 8TH 2024 AND MAY DEACTIVATE THIS CAMERA IN 2025.

Does this work with the Vivint home security integration like nest?

I cannot be sure about Vivint . . . BUT . . . I was very disappointed with this product, advertised as a Google Nest cam. It does not work with and is not recognizable by the Nest app. It is recognized by the Google Home app.

When you need to review footage having been offline for a while, are there notifications if there has been any motion detection ?

When enabled, you can receive camera alerts as long as you're signed into the app. However, if your phone is offline, you won’t get real time notifications. Also, there's no fee to stream full resolution live video and receive basic notifications, as long as your camera is connected to the internet. Possible to use a very short usb cable for power? is the usb power cable hard wired? the installation location will be about 10” from a usb outlet.
