LifeProofFRE Series Waterproof Case for iPhone 12 (NOT Mini/Pro/Pro Max) Non-Retail Packaging - Free Diver

I prefer the Lifeproof FRE version over the Lifeproof Nuud version as the Nuud version the charging port protector will chip/crack and will no longer hold the protector in place to cover the port. FRE protects my screen and guarantees my phone to stay waterproof.

This case is worth the expense. It saves my phone constantly- from hard impacts to drops to water immersion. One difficulty is the glare off the screen when taking pictures in sunny conditions. But it sure beats cracked glass or a broken phone!

I’ve purchased multiple Lifeproof Fre cases over the years. Unfortunately every one has cracked across the camera lens cover. The last case was purchased 6 weeks ago and already is cracked. I called for the warranty coverage (one year) and the no longer sell the iPhone 12 Lifeproof Fre case. I do not recommend this case.

I’ve trusted these cases to keep my phone looking brand new and they have done that. In the past, Lifeproof would warranty the case and, when something broke, would replace the case because they stood by it. Now otterbox owns Lifeproof and this case is no longer covered by a warranty. The charger door is the weakest point on this case and also the most frequently used.

The screen part scratches easily and the charging port cover broke off after a month of use. It was good while it lasted, but now it isn't waterproof, which is the reason I bought this case.

It’s what it is. The front cover makes touching the screen a pain.

I continue to need a fully waterproof and dirt proof phone case to protect my phone investments; and the product still fails in the exact place each time. It is a great product, but that little mesh sound screen is always the culprit of warranty. Its just not durable enough- perhaps the company will read this (yet after a few of the same reviews I have made, I have purchased atleast 14 of these lol) and look into "FrogSkin" to change the outcome of all these warranty claims I and many others make. Love the case and its purpose, and the warranty, but for the sake of the issues they need to resolve that little mesh speaker quality. Please

Excellent phone case. Great protection. Great warranty as well

This case does not have the same sensitivity of a touchscreen of my previous Lifeproof cases. The screen cover is a different material. I was hoping this case would be the same, but it is not.

Item started to break the day I received it. I requested a return and they agreed to it. A month after mailing back the damaged item to the address label I was provided, the package was returned to me by Canada Post as ‘Unclaimed’ and ‘Closed’. Obviously they don’t want to return my money for the damaged item. Don’t purchase from this company.
