ColumbiaMen's PFG Tamiami II Long Sleeve Shirt

This is my second PFG Tamiami II and I want all the colors. My gosh this shirt is comfortable. The long sleeve design means no worries on bugs or sunburn. The lightweight fabric (I'll just call it "magicweave") is like something out of a sci-fi novel. It's sturdy, soft, and comfortable.I took this one (and my other one) on a four-day hike through the Idaho mountains and had to check myself to see if I was perspiring. This shirt breathes more freely than a ten year-old with a jar of Vicks' Vap-o-Rub globbed on his lip. You will not be disappointed. The extra features like the roll-up sleeves with the button tabs to keep them up are a huge bonus when you feel like shorts sleeves are the way to go. The ample cut means you hardly feel like you're wearing it, and if you're fishing, you can cast like a bassmaster. No binding.Go ahead. Give Columbia your money. It's the right thing to do.

My husband loves these shirts he say they are lite and cool. Would purchase again

This is not a fashion item, but seems thin. Peculiar styling at the back with unsightly pockets on both sides and a gusset of some kind in the back. The sleeves have a hook so they can be rolled up and gathered, but are too long since rolling them up defeats the purpose and exposes the arms to the sun.I am very sun challenged and it would serve the purpose of being out in the sun wearing chinos or jeans although not a fashion item. Made of thin polyester with a mesh inside.However, they are hugely over-sized. I am always an XL and this is far too big for me.Am returning them.Heed the reviews - definitely order one (or even 2) sizes down.Update:Amazon replaced with a smaller size which is great. These feel silky and do not stick to the skin. There a lot of pockets, but I was in the sun all day and I liked the feel and it does it's job. I would buy again.

This is a great shirt! Let me start with saying a am female, with a large chest. I need to buy men's shirts to fit comfortably. This shirt was just the ticket.The fabric is super soft and wonderful. (I will say this fabric will snag very easy. It won't hold up to life in the bush or hard use). It is good for just being outdoors gardening though. That's what I'm using it for. It's also good for just hanging around outdoors and not wanting to get burned. It does stay nice and cool compared to a cotton tee.

These long sleeve Tamiami shirts definitely run large in the body. I'm normally an XL or XL tall (6'3", 225), and this shirt in XL is perfect in the arms but just a bit too large in the body. I've tried the Large and its a little too tight, so this is what I've settled on. The fabric is so light that it drapes well, so slightly large isn't really an issue. Giving it 4 stars - would be 5 if it was a couple inches smaller in the chest.

I have a couple other fishing shirts but I think I like this one the best. It's by far the lightest fabric. It has a simple design, it doesnt have all the extra zippers and stuff most shirts of this type have. The quality is first rate...buttons sewn on good and strong, button holes are reinforced, seams are straight and tight. Velcro closures on the pockets.I'm 6 foot even and weigh 225, the XL fits perfectly, plenty of room to move but not swimming in it.Amazon's price was the cheapest anywhere and I shopped quite a bit. Wrinkles tend to stay in through wash and dry but I would NOT iron this shirt. I hit it with a fabric steamer and that got the wrinkles.Can recommend in good conscience.

I live in Florida very hot and this is good if you have to go and be out side anytime.

I thought it was a great shirt, but the sizing is totally off. I measured carefully and ordered according to the chart but shirt was way way too too big so I returned it. I might reorder but not soon as the travel I had planned to use the shirt for will occur before the reorder could get to me. Great product- lousy size instructions/chart.
