Excellent value and comfort
I bought these as a addition to the FDX kit I already own, which includes the jersey and bib tights in the same style/pattern. I'm happy with everything I've got from them. These bib shorts are very comfortable, padding is good, stitching is strong and they've held up well after a few washes. I actually went a size up from the bib tights I already own though (from M to L) as the full-length tights are a bit more snug than I'd like over the shoulders (just not quite long enough in the body despite the leg length being perfect) and I'm glad I did. I'm 6'2" tall with a 32" inside leg and a 34" waist and the size L is much better for me. I know some people have said the legs aren't as tight around the thighs as they'd like but I've had no such problems and my thighs aren't huge. The fit is ideal actually. On the whole, I've no complaints. I've worked out what size FDX stuff fits and that's really the key. Do that and you probably won't be disappointed. Sure, there's better kit out there if you really want to spend some more money but at this price, there's not much on Amazon that beats it. This is my first year of road cycling and for the level I'm at, this is perfect. I'd definitely buy from FDX again.

Not perfect, hot, but decent value.
I purchased these specifically for use on the trainer, to preserve other shorts. They do the job. The chamois is OK, albeit a bit rigid. I wouldn’t fancy riding on the road with it, as it tends not to move and bend under you like pads from other brands do. The chamois position for me is wrong. It’s too far back and therefore doesn’t cover forward compared to other shorts. Elsewhere, fit is decent (size M @ 6ft, 74kg, 31” waist). Main gripe is the Lycra itself. I’d describe it as ‘old-school’. It’s glossy, shiny and doesn’t feel very breathable to me. Hence it gets warmer on the turbo than my more technical bibs. Good for winter in the shed, would not like to ride these in summer. Finally, leg grippers aren’t the best, hence they do ride up gradually but I can live with this, at this price point.

Comfy bum
These are seriously cool and comfy bib shorts, I bought one size bigger than I actually am 3xl because normally cycling wear is smaller than expected. My last bib shorts were 5xl but they were Italian ones, these on the other hand I could have bought the correct size 2xl as they seem to be correct in size. The only thing is they are longer in the leg than I like, but hiking them up is no problem at all, the leg rubber is a nice touch as it is in the form of the FDX branding logo. Nice. The padding in the crutch area though is the icing on the cake, OMG it's amazing, the first time I put them on and went cycling was weird as the gel in the padding was cold on my padding. Cycling though was great, I'm used to no definition in my cycle wear padding, but this is a whole other world of comfort, I managed to ride 25miles with no pain and no numbness. I can tell you this, it was the first time in a very long time I got off the bike and really properly enjoyed my ride and so did the crackers too.Proper chuffed and looking forward to buying some more now.

1st cycle - 200k. Good value with decent padding
Bought these last minute to do the Wicklow200 challenge. Having trained with multiple other cheap/reasonably priced bib shorts leading up to it, all I was trying to find was more padding. These were A LOT better than the rest. Aside from the odd readjustment on the saddle they were excellent for the full 200k. Cannot speak for long-term as I wore them straight out the pack for the one event. But I'm very very happy with the comfort initially👍🏻 cannot compare to expensive brands as have yet to try any. True to size for me, if a little tight on the shoulders at first. 6"3 90kg.

Fdx bib shorts
Bought these as looked decent value compared to other bib shorts from well known cycling websites. These seem well made and a few times on the bike have been comfortable. The only downsides are that the straps could be a little bit stretchier as they are pulling on my shoulders a bit when standing up and the first image shows the waist is quite high but didn’t see the second image where the waist is at belly level. I don’t know about any other xl riders they prefer to have a high waist for the jerseys that may ride up and give everyone a peek of their belly button!Anyway that’s prob by fault but the straps could do with some more elasticity.Defo would buy again at the decent price point

As a part time pleasure cyclist I think they are excellent
Very happy with this purchase. The 3D padding seems excellent(not that I am an expert on these things as I only ride for pleasure), it keeps you nice and cool/comfortable and fitted my anatomy perfectly. There is a full length leg version of these shorts, which I purchased as well, and the padding in those ones is not the same as in this shorter legged version, it is not the same '3D' padding and is not quite as comfortable(it does not absorb the bumps in the road as well). It took me a while to find this out, as people seem to be reluctant to mention it, but unless it is really cold(say below 14 degrees) you should not wear undies with cycling shorts as it will defeat one of the objects of cycling shorts ie keeping perspiration to a minimum, therefore they obviously will need to be washed after every use. If like me you have never worn cycling shorts before you will find that they make cycling much more of a pleasure, you must ignore the snide remarks from uninformed naysayers though. I think that these shorts represent excellent value for money as from what I can see, to get this degree of quality/comfort you would be looking at paying twice the price at least.

Comparing to my expensive cycling bib shorts this are just fine...but I'll prefer to spent little more money and get the better stuff...

Pantaloncini belli e funzionali
