just received it, pretty generic at a good price - will see how long it will last. our experience is that these things start falling apart after 3-4 years

My previous floater was less durable and thinner material. This one does the job and holds @ four 3" tablets for those times when you wanna get away for a week w/o any maintenance.

It’s durable and works great

I purchased this chlorinator as a replacement for another pop-up floating chlorinator that had fallen apart from sun damage (Arizona!). When I first got it, I was concerned with it being so lightweight and malleable. My concerns have been confirmed as it constantly flips over, i.e., the bottom of the chlorinator faces the sky. This is the fourth time in the last four days that I have looked out and seen it flipped over (btw, when it’s upside down, there is no chlorine being added to the pool). We have in floor pool cleaners and the jets are fairly strong so if that’s the cause of it flipping, I would say that the device is way too flimsy!EDIT (6/04/24): The manufacturer contacted me after I posted this review and was very gracious to send me a replacement along with a full refund. I haven't had any problems with the replacement that was sent. Great customer service!

Now I I could look from inside of my house and see if I have to put more tablets as soon as I see the red I’ll grab tablets and fill it up
