If its not dead centred, one end will end up being a lot looser, this MAY cause the clasp to come of during its use (depending on collar type). Although if correctly centred this won't really happen. There is a lack of friction between the ball-end and the clasp itself, most likely due to the smooth polished look, maybe sanding can remedy this but I haven't tried it. If you are going to wear this, expect it to come of (hanging of one collar shank) a few times before you figure out how to keep it firm. Use the smallest skinniest tie knots, if a heavier metal was used for this clasp and tension was a lot more strong then this would last many years.That being said there is a bit of weight to it and does hold the collar shanks down - it will not always fall of - maybe it will be perfect for you. As of right now, it does the job just make sure you use a spear point style collar and it shouldn't fall or if it does I'd recommend a vintage tie clasp. Still has drawbacks mainly not enough tension I think or needs sanding

Looks good easy to use

This is a little difficult to push onto my jacket to keep it together as I have a problem with my fingers, but once on it looks great and does the job I intended it for. I am guessing that, as men's collars usually have stiffener in them, they would go on more easily.

Very poor quality, made of a cheapp, soft metal which easily bends when applying to shirt collar. Larger hoops on chain do not stay in place due to gaps in design.

Very happy with this product.

Quality ok, but the time to take delivery was ridiculous.
