NRS Healthcare Magnetic Door and Window Alarm - Pack of 3

Bought to use as a warning for an elderly parent with dementia opening a bedroom door at night so we could direct him to the right room and ensure he didn't tumble down stairs. The alarm was not only loud it ensured we didn't have any mishaps.

Good apart from one didn't work an could be more sticky as one other kept falling off an waking us up

The media could not be loaded.  Nice little alarm, pretty loud.The only thing letting it down is it doesn't have a chime function.But still good and as you can hear in the video it isn't bad for sound.

The alarms themselves are really good and loud and easy to set up, with an on off switch at the side, that being said however the adhesive is rubbish, 5 minutes after sticking one to my front door the alarm sounded briefly and I heard a bang, the alarm had fallen from the door. After reading the reviews about this, I have already order some replacement adhesives, so this should sort out problem of not sticking. I would buy them again if needed, as they are a worth the £6.99 paid for a set of 3.

The alarms are very loud but I only received 1 trigger, not good when I ordered 3 alarms, don’t know what to do with the 2 other alarms now.

works but harder than others to line up contact. alarm sometimes temperamental about sounding. and sticky soft and goo wee so cant be moves if placed wrongly. bought a better one in poundland. but can be made to work.

I purchased these alarms because they seemed reasonably priced whilst maximising security around my property.Within one day of making the purchase, I received the alarms. Upon opening the box, I saw the product (3 x Magnetic door and Window locks) and a instruction manual in multiple languages with pictures for easy preparing. Within three minutes of me opening the box and looking at the pictures it was self explanatory and easy to set up. I now have one on my front door, front window and bedroom window. The reason I have given this product a five star rating is because it emits a loud, piercing alarm until the door is closed which is a good feature so you know if people are coming in. Batteries are already provided aswell, I'm not sure which brand the batteries are but you just pull the black tab under the cover and its ready to go. The batteries seem to last a long time aswell - I've kept it on the "ON" setting all day and it hasn't had a single fault yet. I also gave this review five stars because I was worried because my front door is reinforced so the frame like lifts...it's not a straight line so I didn't think the sensors would pair but they worked! These alarms practically work on any door frame and any window frame. I also like the way that the battery pack is on the front of the alarm therefore you won't need to remove the adhesive tape and then take the batteries out then put the new ones in. I also like the ON/OFF switch, having positioned the alarm just under the door handle I can flick it to OFF before I open the door then simply flick it to ON when I close the door. The adhesive tape is fairly strong, One of my windows is like made from a layer of metallic type grease stuff and it has a weird texture to touch however this adhesive tape still lasts on the weirdly made windows.Overall, it is a very durable product and I would recommend this to anybody with children or anybody just wanting to increase their security.
