Lone Ranger: Volumes 1-3

I was so happy to find this 'Real' Lone Ranger DVD. I remember these shows from my childhood.Every show had a good message for children, even though The Lone Ranger had to get toughwith some of those mangy bad guys, he was always on the side of the law and loved helpingthose in need. Tonto was always by his side, they were a good team. And what a beautifulhorse Silver was, this is just an all around good DVD, especially for us fans of The Lone Rangerfrom the back in the Good Old Days!

DISC 3 IS NOT FULLY FUNCTIONALI tried playing Disc 3 of this three-disc set on several DVD players.The first episode's ("Finders Keepers") opening ride-in scene plays and talks faster than normal before permanently freezing at the opening scene's Lone Ranger Rock.The second and third episodes ("The Masked Rider" & "War Horse") are NOT accessible.Only the fourth episode ("A Message from Abe") plays with any regularity, but there are some pauses.NOTE 1: Of all twelve episodes on the three DVD's, only "A Message From Abe" is in color, so although their advertising is legal, with only ONE show in color, the advertising deceives the consumer into thinking that they are receiving color and/or colorized episodes.NOTE 2: Regardless of the cost, this complaint is about the quality rendered. I paid almost $10, but now I see it's being sold for $6. I assume the DVD quality is so bad that they can't give it away.

Entertaining for the Grandkids

Good story , but there was two copy of disk two and no number 3

Ordered as an introduction to the new movie "The Lone Ranger". I ordered for my Grandchildren (3 boys), they enjoyed the movie. Later they watched several movies of the early Lone Ranger.

1 disc played, 1 skipped and the third wont play at all.

My 2 year old nephew loves this DVD.
