Loved this product!
I occasionally get pinched nerves in my neck/shoulder area. In the past, I have gotten relief from massage therapy and chiropractic care., but it takes time. My massage therapist suggested this to me. Well, I tried it and had relief within a few days. I definitely love the dual chambers and air pumps, this way you can focus on one side if that’s what is needed. I highly recommend this product.

Dr. Opinion: There are better and worse options for neck decompression/traction.
I bought this for a patient to try for free. He has radiating arm and hand pain, along with low neck and shoulder (trapezius) pain. His arm/hand pain and numbness is caused by a disc bulge around c6/7. I have used actual decompression therapy, with a $20,000+ decompression table in my office with him. He gets relief from this but it is expensive per visit and not covered by his insurance. He was asking me about at home decompression devices for the neck. The older style, that is more common is the over the door pulley type decompression system. I have seem these used for some relief in the past. This specific decompression device uses bladder inflation. Think like a blood pressure cuff (sphygmomanometer for you medical nerds) pumping up but instead of inward compression, it has mostly vertical distraction/axial traction. I have given this patient this device at no charge, to try at home. He has used it for about a week and seems to be doing a little better, especially in the arm and hand after using it daily or every other day, at my instruction, for a week. The problem in the past, is we can't get him better but because of his job (mechanic) all the overhead work, aggravates and inflames his disc again. So we can get it better but can't keep it better for more than a week or two....which is not good enough at all, IMO.This unit is on the lower level of a good at home neck depression, traction unit. It is defiantly better than nothing and worth giving a try, especially if you can't afford a better over the door, pully unit or the best treatment is actual disc decompression on a decompression table, done by a professional, which is clearly the best, most effective and most accurate but costs the most.I would have no problem recommending this unit to people that are on a very tight budget, but for at home traction therapies, there are better options, in my opinion. The over the door units have more pull and are more adjustable for the angle. Please know, the best specific actual disc decompression is done by professional PTs, Chiropractors and sports MDs that have very expensive equipment and experience, but it is usually not covered by medical insurance and takes multiple treatments to be effective. Most would want a cervical MRI before this type of treatment also.I have a feeling this review will be updated soon. I will let you know what his experience is over time. Longevity of the product, durability and management of his symptoms will be updated in this review over time. This has been the first couple weeks. As with anything, please consult your health care provider for your specific health care needs. This traction collar could further injure or aggravate a torn disc, so please be careful and make your doctor send you for a neck (cervical) MRI if you want to know what is truly happening with your neck. It's your health and your body, sometimes you need to dictate to the doctor what needs to be done and not wait for them.Good luck and good health. 11/3/22Dr.K

Helps my neck pain
Once you figure out the personal logistics (every person is a different person, and so are their necks), it’s easy to use and effective.

Worth Trying
I’m giving the Ajuvia Neck Heal device a five-star rating. I am confident that it is going to help alleviate neck discomfort and/or pain for some folks. That includes some associated upper shoulder symptoms, too. It is not going to “work” for everyone, but it is a legitimate, low-cost device that does:a. Can create a traction effect on the neck decompressing the cervical spine and associated structures.b. Does give the supporting soft tissues varying degrees of support when inflated.Accomplishing “a” and/or “b” above has the potential to reduce or stop discomfort/pain.I would hate to see folks pass up getting this device when it could effectively help them, even if they have tried using another commonly used, low-cost device, the Over-The-Door Traction Unit. This unit usually requires a prescription and is usually not covered by insurance as it is a “durable medical equipment” device. This traction unit has its pros and cons, and it doesn’t “work” for everyone, too. However, it does create a traction effect on the neck and gives the supporting soft tissues of the neck “a break” while being used. There are other options for applying cervical traction, most either requiring two people to do it or being expensive. Neither applies to the Ajuvia Neck Heal device.I got this device for my wife, but I also tried it out myself. It is made well. The Velcro straps are sturdy as are the pump mechanisms. It looks like it will last for a reasonable time. Of course, it can be used over and over again, which is sometimes needed to relieve or treat neck pain. I like that is a simple device that requires nothing else…no door, no table, no weights or water bags, etc.Depending on the person and how much the Ajuvia device is inflated to achieve the desired amount of traction, it can become uncomfortable. To get a strong amount of cervical traction I had to pump it up a good bit (the average human head weighs 11 pounds). To achieve the same results would probably not be comfortable for some people, but fine for others. Using cervical traction for a little longer period, while being comfortable, usually works fine. Merely, taking some of the physical load off the muscles and soft tissues in the neck used to support the head often gives some relief.I have to include a couple of additional comments:1. It is always best to have a professional evaluation of the cause of neck discomfort and/or pain. And, absolutely so if the symptoms persist.2. A lot of musculoskeletal pain (especially chronic) can be helped, managed, or eliminated by regular exercise. It is a very good idea to get professional advice concerning appropriate exercises for neck pain/discomfort. There are some effective and specialized exercise techniques to positively address musculoskeletal neck and/or upper shoulder issues. (Yep, I hate doing exercises and slack off way too much on doing MY exercises, but they do help). I know this review does not give definitive answers to some questions. Not everyone responds the same to the same treatment. Some patients respond quickly and positively, healing in no time. Others, with the same type of injury or condition, heal slowly or not completely. Getting better sometimes involves trying new things. The Ajuvia Neck Heal device is worth trying.

Good for neck pain relief
This cervical neck stretcher is quick to inflate, and you can control the pressure you need to relieve your neck. I liked that it consists of two parts, making putting it around the neck easy.
