Comfortable and good coverage
Highly adjustable and very comfortable to wear. I hope never to test their effectiveness, but the material seems strong and they have the correct certifications for British usage

Feel fully protected with these, but still good mobility !
First time chainsaw user, but was looking for something protective but not too hot / restrictive.I think these fit the bill really well.Sizing / fitting was good for me. Pretty straight forward to put on. There are a lot of clips but this means less "loose" material to catch anywhere. They are heavy to wear, but not excessively so. You certainly feel kitted out & safe.

Does the job well, I think.
Short of trying to cut my own leg off, I can’t say for certain that these are good quality and I’m not doing that for a review! They are easily adjusted with a buckle around the waist and then 4 more down each leg. I am a 36 inch waist and they fit me ok but I don’t know how much bigger they would go. The legs are a bit long so they bunch a bit at the bottom but with the buckles adjusted that isn’t a problem. They are rated for 20m/s chainsaws and mine is 10m/s so they should be ample. If they ever save me a trip to A&E I’ll be sure to update the review.

Great
I'm 5ft 2ins and thought these chaps would be far too big, but they bent over my shoes nicely, they were very comfortable and I wore them all afternoon, they are well worth the money for peace of mind, I would recommend them.

Decent fit
I've never bothered with protective trousers but got nagged into it, these are easy to put on and not too heavy. On a warm day you'll be hot, hardly a surprise.I've not had to test their protection, don't really want to!

Good, but design flaw iritation - could be improved
1 Have 31.5" inseam, and with shoes on these are a good length. I can hitch them up a bit.Would be good for up to 33.5" inseam I woud say.Certainly much cooler and less of a pain to put on/off than full trousers especially over the top of jeans etc.BUT, they have a design flaw - the straps that fasten around the legs have straps that are far to0 long and also are the wrong way round - the loose end of strap is the wrong side causing some risk. There is no loop to secure it either.Of course you can shorten the strps to your need, but Oregon should re-design that aspect.Aslo when bending over to secure the legs straps, it makes it harder to get them tight as you need to bend.Overall though, goo for occassional chain saw use when you have to ut chaps on/off over jeans etc.BEst option, not perfect

Superb item I wish I bought earlier.
This chainsaw protection trousers are a must fit anyone using dangerous machines like chainsaws people. I’m talking to you as someone who had a very lucky escape in the summer cutting down trees without having any protections what so ever. Having slipped with my chainsaw I’ve used so many times before for years without protection.I’m so lucky I didn’t cut my hands or leg off by the chainsaw I know so well. When I slipped the chainsaw was going and it tore through my jeans and lacerated my right kneecap tearing I believe into the bone leaving me in shock. I’d walked or limped into the house, and my wife knew something was up with me. As I was pure white from shock and not responding to her at all for a few seconds to. Then when I pointed to my leg and I sat down, not looking at what had happened to my leg. She freaked when seeing the blood knowing this was the saw that did this folks. Blood pouring from this wound. I count myself fortunately to be able to walk although painfully for a few weeks. My knee has not been right as I believe I’ve chipped or lost some bone from this incident. Please please please don’t bre Kline me and be foolish. I’d then went and bought these chaos that are so comfortable to wear even for long hours of use in a day. They don’t make you sweat either which is a massive bonus to have to. Please make sure you don’t do what I did and but they proper equipment that could save you from danger from chainsaw chains cutting you really badly. As they are unforgiving machines if you don’t respect them in accidents can happen to anyone including normally people that take great care. Do not use a chainsaw without trousers at least like these even from another brand Oregon or someone else’s. That could protect your limbs from a very nasty damage. Thanks for reading.
