Easy to install
Just need to drill a couple of holes, and the locking mechanism screws into the door base plate. The hardest bit is making sure the hole you drill in the door is perfectly aligned, otherwise the locking plunger won't push in correctly. If you're not confident with a drill, get a grown up to help...

New lock for may patio
Brought this as it is made by a well known lock company and not a micky mouse company But i am sadly disappointed it is just as flimsy as my last old hopefully it will last a bit longer but i have my doubts had to find so screws as one of the screws supplied was covered over so you couldn't get a screwdriver in itDon't blame the seller as he could not have knownAlso the lock should be the other way round as you have to get your hand right up to the frame which is difficult have to wait and see how sturdy it is

The product does the job
I have purchased this product twice. In both cases the existing locks had been in use for 20 years and more.I was relieved to find that I could replace them with an identical product so easioly.Thankyou

Really good design and strong but the keys feel weak
The design is fantastic. The screws are covered by the hardened mechanism when it's locked and only accessible when unlocked unlike the cheaper competitors that can just be unscrew and removed. My problem with it is that the lock mechanism is "sticky" and the keys feel like a little bit too much twist and they'll shear off in the lock. I bought this as an identical brand replacement for someone's house because they were complaining that the existing lock is sticky and they were worried about breaking the key... I guess it's always been like this. I put a generous dose of white lithium grease in it and it works better but I'm still s bit concerned.

Good for the Job
Very pleased with purchase, no install instructions but the used a clip off youTube which was perfect[...]Had a technical hitch , emailed the supplier, replied very quickly the same day with a resolution, very impressed with supportWill use supplier and ERA products again
