So far, so very good
This is a day 2 review and will be updated for 1 month, 6 months and one year.So far, this has been excellent. Easy to install (did it on my own) and the fact it folds made maneuvering it into position in my home gym much (much) easier than I thought it would be. It was well packed and felt like the manufacturer takes care. So, installation went well. The bolts lined up perfectly and it was very quick as the main components are all pre-built, you just bolt them together. One thing to note, if you over-tighten you sometimes miss-align another hole so put them all in finger tight and then tighten with the provided allen key. Another tip, if you have a professional allen key set with a near vertical key (rather than the L shape provided) use that as some of the holes are slightly hard to get to and you will have a better angle to tighten up.It's not immediately clear but you can fold the running deck up once clear of packaging and roll out of the box to where you want to place the unit before you add the arms and the console. Make it much easier. So - about 1 hour from cutting the plastic straps on the box to switching it on. It looks like a professional running machine (if a little plasticky) and more importantly it feels like a running machine you'd go on in a gym. The deck is very robust and a great length; there's no worry of falling off the back even if you have a large stride.I like to run 5K every day at a decent pace, finishing the last 1K with an ever increasing sprint up to around 16kmph. I'm 44 and 13 stone so I can make a noise pounding away...out of the box this machine felt very very solid and a joy to run on. The desk absorbs the impact well but doesn't feel overly spongy.I shall be trying a 10K at the weekend and then some of the interval programmes. I'm actually really looking forward to it.So far so very good. To get this standard of equipment for sub £1000 has come as a bit of a surprise as I did a lot of research prior to this purchase and I was considering going for a £700 machine from Decathalon which I tried and was definitely a compromise yet one I felt I could live with. At the moment, for £300 more I haven't had to make that compromise.Oh and the delivery came early as well.

If you are 15 stones or over just steer away from this model.
The JTX Sprint-7 really does not handle weight. If you are 15 stones or over just steer away from this model, no matter what specs says.Despite maintenance (lube-oil only) and the seller engineer intervention the treadmill keeps altering speed by his own will (generally slowing down a bit), more often if you use inclination at the same time. After more than 2 years I still regret having bought this model and it will soon go for a more solid one.I am afraid I will steer clear of JTX.

Great Product but minor annoyances
I purchased this product as I’m not allowed to run outside naked, I can now do this in the comfort of my own house. I have to do it in the garage as the wife tells me she doesn’t want to be ill and my children don’t want to be placed in care. I offered to wear a sock, but she’s having none of it.The delivery was well executed and on time. Two ‘burly’ gentlemen from Birmingham kindly delivered my treadmill and left it on the floor in the middle of my padlocked exercise room. I didn’t think it would take two people to move to and to erect it but believe me, after ‘popping a nut’ trying to move it myself, it really does need two people to get this machine up and running (pun).Once the JTX Sprint7 Folding Motorised Treadmill was in place I then discovered the free floor mats that come with it. These are to be placed underneath the treadmill so that it doesn’t ruin the floor. Once again, I needed another person to help me lift the treadmill and place the padded mats underneath as I’d already popped one nut, and I’ve only got one left so caution was taken. My minor annoyance with this is that on the display screen, the incline display is on the right of the screen and the speed is on the left of the screen, yet the actual physical button to press for the incline is on the left of the screen and the speed button on the right. If you get these mixed up then you certainly will be visiting a world of pain. For my first session I ran a solid 18 meters and was totally shattered, I then went to increase the speed but hit the incline and ended up pretty much mountaineering in the garage, naked. Not a pretty sight especially when my ‘unit’ rubbed against the treadmill ‘tread’ and issued me with a slight ‘burn’ mark. I tried explaining this to the wife but ended up on the sofa for two weeks. The runner also comes with a ‘safety cable’. One end of this safety cable is placed on a magnetic ‘pad’ on the actual running machine. The other end of the cable has a ‘clip’ that should be clipped onto the person running so that, if the running person falls then the magnetic end is removed from the magnetic ‘Pad’ and the machine comes to an immediate stop. Very good for safety. As I am an ‘au naturel’ runner, there was only really one place that I could clip the safety rope to me. It’s not too bad. I find after 4 minutes the pain is replaced by numbness. I have ended up timing my runs not on the calories burnt or the distance ran, but the shades of blue my ‘unit’ turns. I stop at purple.Another word of advice would be to wear decent running shoes. I thought I’d try a ‘Zola Budd’ and go barefoot. Not a good idea. With my feet being a little on the ‘flaky’ side I ended up leaving footprints on the tread. Again, not a good look. I’ve tried most footwear of the treadmill, slippers are terrible as they have no grip, Black office shoes are too slippery and leave indents and high heels just leave me with terrible blisters hence the reason I also purchased Scholl moleskin insoles with the runner.Overall I can recommend this runner to most running ‘noobs’ as I’ve been running on it for half an hour, 6 times a week and have noticed the changes to my body, the main change is that my unit is now constantly purple.A great purchase.

JTX SPRINT7
I recently bought the JTX Sprint 7 after looking for ages in shops and online. This is my first ever running machine that I have owned. The machine has a large running deck so is very comfertable to use a wide selection of programs to choose from the speed and incline function are very handy and close to hand when you are running.I feel the JXT Sprint 7 is excellent value for money and I would recomend it to anyone who is considering buying one being your first or a replacement for your old one. It's even great for the kids to promote a healthier life, my two daughters love using it and they are only 6 and 9 will help them on the schools sports day, who knows maybe the next olympic champion. The JXT Sprint 7 gets my vote

Good basic functionality. Heart rate feature doesn't work
The treadmill does the basics well. Stable, good speed and incline management.Display is very dated. Advertised Heart Rate monitor with Polar connectivity does not work. Company has ignored request for help on this feature suggesting they know it doesn't work.
