it's got metal sides huge power and raw unadulterated android works perfect and made me buy two of there tablets for others I don't throw it around but I know if I did only bad luck would destroy it that or a lightning bolt. Also I have to say after some time with it it feels lovely in your hands, the alloy sides and sturdy build it's a good phone does everything

The media could not be loaded.  This is my first foray into the rugged smartphone technology. I am fed up with the extortionate cost of screen repairs and replacements over the years. I figure I have paid on average about £50 per year for these repairs. My occupation as a boiler engineer probably increases the risk of dropping my phone. I have done a fair amount of research on what brands are available but importantly I have asked a lot of friends and colleagues in the building trade for their opinions and experience. Doogee definitely is a highly recommended brand. Indestructible with good specifications seems to be the general opinion. Looking at all the models available I finally decided on this S96GT model. Specifications are similar to my previous phone. The main thing is getting used to the increased weight and size of the smartphone. I have found that it works fast. Has the latest Android 12 operating system. 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM is more than enough for me. The screen quality is clear and bright even in high light conditions. The camera and video quality is great. Battery is bigger than my last phone so I am getting a full days use without any difficulties. It supports wireless charging which is convenient.I have not dropped this phone yet but it feels so strong and protected that I feel absolutely confident that it will cope. My only niggle I'd that it doesn't support 5G but TBH 4G is fast enough for me. So far I am happy with this. I will update over the next few months.

Flash lights only half LED lamp. The speaker creaks ( that is second one with that fault ). Fast charge does not work ( only standard charge works ). Battery getting to flat quite fast. Disappointed by this rugged phone.

Just been great to have to get to work with

A few months after buying the Doogee S88 Pro, I'm already entitled to inform that this phone is exactly for whom it seems to have been made for: Heavy work professionals, street workers, policeman, fireman, etc.It's a heavy weight device ready to be handled with gloves for basic functions like calling or answering a call, and its battery is powerful enough to feed and read a 1Tb HDD connected via OTG.

I have bought a lot of these cheaper brand phones over the years and most of them have any issue somewhere, be it the wifi, the battery, gps, call quality. I am yet to find a fault with this one. I've been running it a couple of issues and if there are issues I normally would have noticed something by now. One thing that is really impressive is the wifi capability. I get full signal everywhere in my house even in my out building 20 meters from the router. The full dsl line speed over wifi everywhere in the house. Even my Dell xps 15 laptop can compete with the throughput I get on this phone. Pretty impressed for the money.
