Works great
A SAS enclosure that actually works properly. Supported my 2.5 inch ssd 3.84tb sas drive with no issue. The holes for the smaller drive actually line up unlike other brands.

Great Little Device!
Nice, well engineered, worked exactly as planned. Packs away neatly. I replaced a 180 GB hard drive and now this adapter lets me use it as a flash drive. Just make sure that this is the right adapter for the type of hard drive you plan to use it with. I learned a lot about the miniature SSHDs and their evolving formats and physical sizes.

A Decent Metal Enclosure for your mSATA SSD!
This is mSATA-to-USB3.0 enclosure functions well and is a great value for a fairly inexpensive enclosure. Installation of my 30mm x 50mm mSATA SSD was super easy and completely tool-less! (Note: if your SSD is 30mm x 30mm form-factor, it will work but requires a small screw driver to secure the SSD on included standoffs). The enclosure itself is aluminum, so it is durable and has some weight to it; however, the internal frame and end-caps are plastic... which is fine for the cover protecting the USB end, but the other end-cap "clips" into the plastic internal frame and is a little too easy to remove, so I have some concern that it'll loosen over time from the plastic wearing down, preventing the enclosure from staying closed. Time will tell. The enclosure also includes a manual with a picture-guide on how to initialize and partition your mSATA SSD. The text is a little small, so I uploaded some screenshots. Overall, I like the enclosure and the mid-performance SATA-III SSD I'm using in it has a reasonable read/write speed, so I'd recommend MAIWO.

Good and Fit and Works well...
I bought it. It works. I am just too unskilled and uncomfortable with SAS so far. I had to sell it. It was an awkward purchase for the time but the item was good and fit.

Not USB 3.1
From the several options here I decided to go with this model over the dock (that would worked better for me since I had to wipe 12 2TB SAS drives) because it said that was USB 3.1. but is not. Its USB 3.0.which sadly limits the transfer to 50MB. which is 1/3 of the disk speed, causing the wipe that I need to do jump from 4 days to like 16 Tested in several computers and with different cables. It does work on reading sas server disks though but I have a 20$ dock that reads sata disks at 100MB without issues....

Much too expensive for how hilariously slow it is.

Quick to swap out the drive inside and didn't get too hot. High speeds limited only by the msata drive. Fits snugly into the usb port without any sag or slip. Excellent product.

Pros: - Decent build quality - Aluminum housing is portable and durable - Supports up to 2TB mSATA SSDs - Works with UASP and TRIM for faster performance and maintenance - Useful for recovering or reusing drives from older laptops - Affordable option to access legacy storage - USB 3.0 - Compact design - Enclosure easy to open - Supports both 3030 and 3050-sized SSDs - Screw included for mounting 3030-sized SSD Cons: - mSATA is an outdated technology - Not compatible with NVMe M.2 SSDs (different interface) - Physically and electrically incompatible with modern M.2 SSDs - Wide body may block other computer ports (No USB extension cable included) The MAIWO mSATA enclosure has decent quality. It connects directly to a USB 3.0 port with no cable needed. However, the 4cm wide enclosure may block the access of other computer ports. The aluminum housing feels solid and is easy to carry around. It supports up to 2TB capacity and works with 3050 and 3030-sized mSATA SSDs. It also supports UASP and TRIM, which help improve speed and efficiency when used with a compatible SSD. mSATA is old, and such SSDs are no longer manufactured by major brands like Samsung, Crucial/Micron, Intel, or Western Digital. This enclosure does not work with NVMe M.2 SSDs, as they are incompatible in size and technology (SATA vs PCIe). I did not have an old mSATA SSD available for testing. Still, it’s a smart item to keep on hand for data recovery or if I come across an old laptop using an mSATA drive. It’s a simple and compact adapter for its intended purpose. I am happy with the acquisition.

Good for accessing old mSATA drives with no fuss. Just plug and play. The only issue I have with it is the USB port is flush with the large casing, making this awkward to plug into many USB drives, as it either doesn't fit (back of tower) or covers adjacent USB ports.

I recently purchased the MAIWO External mSATA Enclosure to convert my old mSATA SSD into a portable external drive, and it has exceeded my expectations in both build quality and performance. The enclosure is made of sturdy aluminum, which not only protects the SSD but also helps dissipate heat during heavy use. Its compact and lightweight design makes it incredibly portable, perfect for carrying in my laptop bag or pocket without adding bulk. Setup was plug-and-play on both my Windows and Mac systems—no additional drivers required. The USB 3.0 connection delivers fast transfer speeds up to 5Gbps, and with UASP and TRIM support, I’ve noticed improved data transfer efficiency and SSD longevity. The absence of a separate cable is a small but welcome convenience since I can just plug it directly into my laptop’s USB port and go. It supports SSDs up to 2TB, which gives me plenty of room for large files and backups. Overall, this enclosure is a great way to extend the life of an mSATA SSD and get portable high-speed storage at an affordable price. Whether you’re upgrading, backing up data, or simply want a reliable external drive, the MAIWO enclosure is a solid choice that performs exactly as promised.
