bought this because I need to remember to circle back to certain timed tasks for work, and I’ve been very impressed with this little timer!best feature is the very easy to read dial. the color insert stretches all the way to the number markings, so you are sure you’ve set the dial right - and you can clearly see the time remaining. the bell is clear, and loud enough but not overwhelmingly so - I’ve got sensitive hearing.. and I haven’t had any mis-alarms like with my cheaper kitchen timer where the bell partially sounds a little early. the magnet is convenient, and is strong enough to securely set to metal, but not so strong that it’s difficult or tricky to remove.overall the device works great and I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Wanted something cheap just to get the job done. So, I decided to buy this. It was very loud, but I'm thinking OK not a deal breaker if it's working. So I used it 1x for 20 minutes. Worked. So I'm thinking ok, tolerable. Tried it again for another 20 mins, then the red dial got stuck then ripped then the whole thing just stopped working yet kept ticking the whole time. Even as I threw it in the trash. If you want a timer, not a good choice. Now if you are living with somebody you wanna annoy, the ticking will do just the trick.

Great little timer! Perfect for those who need visual and auditory cues for starting/stopping/transitions. Perfect size to fit in your hand and magnetic so I can stick it to my desk it won't get lost

This timer helps me to stay on task and on time. I love that it is magnetic and the red visual is helpful for me to stay aware of the time I have left.

Short and simple: This worked okay for the first few months, but has started to fail at this point on some kind of mechanical level. Sometimes it can wind, sometimes it gets stuck.

My time doesn’t ring properly, if I were to set a timer for five minutes, it will ring at three minutes. The magnet fell off the day after I opened it. Quality wasn’t as great as I had hoped.

I bought 10 of these to use in my classroom and 8 of them are faulty. They quit working correctly after about 3 uses and the timer doesn't go off.
