These are a good size to have on hand to throw out into a field for a quick game of kickball. We don't have a huge yard but are out and about a lot.They are designed to give a spot to safely slide without colliding with another player beside a base on a nicer field with bases.If alone on grass, stepping or landing on these may make them move. Easy to use and store in your garage. These rubber mats act as bases for kids to play baseball with. Pretty durable and they shouldn't rip easily. They do move around on the ground some as there is no way to stake them down. But it's perfect for the kids.
