Will this duplicate a usb key dongle?

If it is encrypted or requires a password, then I would think not. It works fine as a straight USB copier, but has no menu option for entering passwords, etc.

I have a usb sd card reader where i want to be able to copy 2 x sd cards either at the same time or one after another. will this support this?

Don't know for sure, but it will copy data. So if it's encrypted, why not

(1) does it work on usb3 flash (just slower)?; (2) max drive capacity it takes? (3) anyone got it working with a battery power pack?

(1) yes just at USB2.0 speeds (2) unsure only used with 8GB drives (3) not tried but i don't see why it wouldn't as long as voltage is correct and the power pack can supply enough current.
