Very soft
Very soft, but even after 1 month, my cockatiel just chewed off the string but wouldn't want to sleep near it.

Cutest Birdie Snuggy
My bird loves to snuggle and borrow into blankets so I got this for him to sleep next to. He loves it. It’s very soft and just as pictured. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it does slip around on the bars of the cage some since it is only fastened by tying strings. I’m sure there would be a way to tighten it better though!

NOT SAFE
The ties that secure it to the cage are not safe for birds. They can pull them through the bars. The ties unravel and seem to be some type of nylon. Our conure became tangled in it. We were able to free him but some remained wrapped around his foot and leg. We were unable to remove it all and had to bring him to the vet. I did not realize this was a problem until after, now I am seeing many reports online of this happening.

Looks as described, but my Amazon parrot was scared to death of it
The media could not be loaded. This cuddle blanket looks like it does in the listing. But, I could not get my Lilac Fronted Amazon parrot to go inside the cage willingly, when this thing was in there. I only tried for a couple days. I tricked him a couple of times. But, once he literally fell off his perch, to the bottom of the cage. This is dangerous enough on it's own. Birds could possibly break a leg or wing, by falling off their perch, while in the cage. I felt bad, and didn't trick him again. The other time, he climbed as far away from the blanket as he could, and just clung to the side of the cage, until I opened the cage door and helped him out. I tried 2 more times after those 2 times. These 2 times, he knew it was in there. Every time out of the 4, when I'd get him out, I could feel his heart beating fast, as well as seeing/feeling him trembling. I was afraid he might have a heart attack, or become ill. Birds' personalities can also change, even developing negative behaviors. I didn't want anything bad to happen. So, I decided to remove the blanket from his cage, and stopped trying altogether. In theory, this blanket is a good idea. I would've loved for him to use it for warmth, if he gets chilly, or just to have something to snuggle up to. But, it's just not worth putting him through this. I think this blanket is something that needs to be introduced at a very young age, most likely at the very beginning of development, when they're just starting out. My bird isn't an old bird. But, he's about 20 years old now. His species lives around 70 years. This product could be good for a baby bird, who's been introduced to it at a young age, maybe even before they've been introduced to their bird cage.

Fuzzy fleece addicted bird has spoken
Got this for my quaker, it's the perfect size for her to snuggle against. I needed to get her to stop cuddling the blanket on top of her cage so she'd be nicer to her knees. This was an ideal solution. It has shoelace ties to secure it so if you got a bird who chews those up be wary and maybe think of some other way to attach it once those are gone. This is made of the same fuzzy fleece throw blankets are made from.

A MUST have for your birdie baby
I ordered one of these for my conure baby Reaper who had a break down and ripped out some of his feathers. I was worried about him being cold. I got him a large when I probably should have went with a med or a small but he loves it so much that I don't have the heart to take it from him to exchange it for a smaller size. So, he just has an oversized one. Which, is okay as well. I HIGHLY recommend one of these if you have a feathered baby. I will be purchasing one for each of the rest of my birdie babies as well. 10 out of 10 will buy again!
