Works fine for books but is a bit big for an ipad on its short end.This is a shame because this is at least half of what I'd be using it for #nevermind.Apart from that, the simple, effective minimalist design is a winner.I have tried it out on all those awkward books desperate to spring shut, large ring binders etc. I actually use it in place of a floor standing music stand.

Wanted it for a heavy stone plaque, not very pretty - but it is supporting the weight.

Just what I needed. Had trouble replacing stand on old picture frame. Bought this instead, looks great.Update: Have since ordered 2 more. 1 for a large plaster of paris 'creation' by my 7 year old which I had no idea how to 'display'. The other to stand my kitchen chopping board on. Excellent item and I'm sure I'll order more as and when I find other uses.

This is perfect for my cookery books. I looked at lots of other designs and reviews but decided this would fit my purpose. I'm very pleased with it. Very strong and holds the pages open without having to adjust anything. It's so easy to clean, and looks quite contemporary. What's more it's such a good price.

Would not recommend! It didn’t even hold the recipe book open..so entirely pointless. Would give it 0 if I could.

I used this to display a picture in a craft show. It held the picture without a problem even though it was placed on a trestle table . Would recommend for similar.

Bought this as a present and was very pleased. Very sturdy for heavy cookbooks and great value for money.
