Review: Perfect for golf tournaments - So perfect! I love it exactly what I wanted. It’s lightweight but comfortable and having the cupholder is a major plus. It’s great for times when I don’t wanna sit for a long time but I wanna have the option here and there like going to golf tournaments or if we are on the boat doing little excursions where we might sit for just a little bit on the beach but no big thing planned and I don’t wanna take up a lot of space. It’s great quality & I’m really happy with it. Review: A Perfect Compact Chair - I purchased these for a golf tournament for me & my wife. They were the allowable size to get into the tournament and they worked extremely well. Solid, sturdy, quality and easy to open and close. The chair comes with the shoulder strap already in place. To open the chair, all you need to do is place the three legs on the ground, then press down on the forward most leg (looks like a black button) on the front most leg and the legs and canvass seat and backrest opens. The shoulder strap drapes over and behind the backrest To close you simply pull up on the shoulder strap, put the strap over your shoulder and press together the three legs. The weight is not too heavy for my 120lb wife to carry. One reviewer said the chair is prone to falling backward - - no, that was not my experience. If you shift all of your weight backward sure, this is a three legged chair. I compared other similar small chairs and this was the highest one which is a plus. Also, important, the shoulder strap comes already assembled for collapsing the chair. Resist the temptation to unsnap the shoulder strap because it looks like it's woven into the legs - nope, that is woven in there to make the pull up on the strap collapse work. Leave that alone. All said, one of the best purchases I have made on desertcart in a long time. ## Features - Folding Stool: Lightweight but durable, this portable stool provides a quick and easy way to take a load off just about anywhere; Field-tested camp stool is perfect for festivals, parades, and spectator sports - Quality Construction: Constructed from sturdy powder-coated steel, this foldable stool supports up to 250 pounds - Easy Storage: Shoulder strap with Auto-Fold Technology allows for easy folding and carrying; Simply pull up on the carry strap to collapse this folding camping stool - Simple Setup: Light enough to be comfortably transported from place to place, our collapsable stool opens and closes in a snap - Compact: Backpacking stool measures 17.1 x 14.6 x 27.4 when open with a seat height of 17.3 and folds to 5.5 x 4.7 x 26.8 inches; 4.4 pounds; Limited lifetime warranty ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00140Y4JS | | Additional Features | Foldable | | Assembly Instructions Description | No assembly required | | Best Sellers Rank | #8,576 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #386 in Camping Chairs #3,481 in RV Parts & Accessories | | Brand | GCI Outdoor | | Brand Name | GCI Outdoor | | Color | Midnight | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 984 Reviews | | Frame Material | Alloy Steel | | Frame Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Furniture Finish | Metal | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00631444000952 | | Included Components | padded backrest and seat | | Item Depth | 14.6 inches | | Item Dimensions | 4.7 x 5.5 x 26.8 inches | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 4.7"D x 5.5"W x 26.8"H | | Item Type Name | chair | | Item Weight | 3.5 pounds | | Leg Style | Straight | | Manufacturer | GCI Outdoor | | Manufacturer Part Number | DQS001-BLU | | Material Type | Alloy Steel, Polyvinyl Chloride, Textile | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 250 pounds | | Model Number | 19014 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Product Care Instructions | Wipe Clean | | Product Dimensions | 4.7"D x 5.5"W x 26.8"H | | Seat Height | 17.3 inches | | Seat Material | Alloy Steel | | Seat Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Set Name | Single Item | | Shape | v shaped | | Size | Single | | Style Name | PackSeat Portable Tripod Camping and Sports Stool | | UPC | 631444000952 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** GCI Outdoor - **Color:** Midnight - **Frame Material:** Alloy Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 4.7"D x 5.5"W x 26.8"H - **Seat Material Type:** Alloy Steel ## Images ![GCI Outdoor Portable Camping Stool - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/818m9b0nMyL.jpg) ![GCI Outdoor Portable Camping Stool - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91I0EaaW0HL.jpg) ![GCI Outdoor Portable Camping Stool - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71z6bxs317L.jpg) ![GCI Outdoor Portable Camping Stool - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81jbjSRNjNL.jpg) ![GCI Outdoor Portable Camping Stool - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71NFRcjZftL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: The description mentioned this stool at.3.5lbs, 4lbs, and 6 lbs. how much does the one with the back weigh?** A: 4lbs. I love mine, I carry it on bike rack with a couple of small bungee cords so I can sit whenever I go to outdoor events. Recently used it at the Cavs championship parade, perfect size, very comfortable, hundreds of queries about it, shared the chair with those standing near me and desperate to sit... sturdy chair. **Q: When the chair is set up, how far up from the ground is the seat?** A: The seat height of the Quik-E-Seat is 17.3 inches. Please feel free to contact GCI Outdoor Customer Service with any future inquiries, we would be glad to assist! **Q: is this chair triangle style comfortable for 5' 5" woman?** A: I am 5’2” and weigh 135. It’s comfortable for an hour or so. The seat is not very deep, but for a camp chair, it’s not bad. I think the more likely problem would be if you were very wide. **Q: What are the dimensions when folded?** A: The folded dimensions of the Quik-E-Seat are 5.5 in W by 4.7 in D by 26.8 in H. Please feel free to contact GCI Outdoor Customer Service with any future inquiries, we'd be glad to assist! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for golf tournaments *by R***K on July 24, 2026* So perfect! This chair is lightweight and has an adjustable strap that when you pull on while the chair is set up, it automatically collapses the chair. I got this to take to my local range where I have to move from stage to stage so I’ll have a little something to sit on in between turns. It’s much better and lighter than some similar ones I tried and returned. This one also has a much nicer strap and the pull to collapse feature. The only reason for taking one star off is that none of this type of chair (with the triangle shaped seat) is very comfortable. I had a different type of chair (folding director’s chair) from this brand that I also really liked until it broke. ## Frequently Bought Together - GCI Outdoor Portable Camping Stool - PORTAL Extra Large Quick Folding Tripod Stool with Backrest Fishing Camping Chair with Carry Strap - GCI Outdoor Quik-E-Seat | Portable, Folding Tripod Chair with Drink Holder and Padded Lumbar Support — Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://madagascar.desertcart.com/products/4767268-gci-outdoor-portable-camping-stool](https://madagascar.desertcart.com/products/4767268-gci-outdoor-portable-camping-stool) --- *Product available on Desertcart Madagascar* *Store origin: MG* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
