These really stop the smell. We have gone up to a week before emptying the garbage, and it hasn't been a problem. Before these, we got the Amazon Basics Unscented Dog Poop Bags, and they started smelling within hours. By the next day, they were intolerable. These are totally worth it.

I use these when I scoop the cat box. Once I tie a knot in the bag opening you cannot smell anything. AT ALL. I brought the bag closer and closer to my face until it was as close to my nose as if I was sniffing a rose. Zero poo smell! These are unbelievable. They also keep the smell completely contained for a whole week, so I only have to empty the trash once a week on trash night. Before getting these, I was using either a ziploc or a dog poo bag (you know the thin ones that come on a roll) and I had to empty that wastebasket every other day at a minimum and even then it was 🤢. I buy the extra small bag size and have no trouble with my cat litter scoop fitting into the opening for a clean disposal. I use Skoon though, and their scoop is quite small. With any other scoop I might get the small size bags.

These work wonders to clean the cat litter, these leave no smell inside the house even if you throw them directly on your garbage. I purchased the extra small and work with out littler scoop.

I do not have a wide scoop so these work really well for scooping the litter box. I measured the scoop and made sure the opening of the bag was larger. The bags work well and there is no odor, are strong, and sturdy.

These bags really do work. I've put used cat litter in them and 3-4 days later I still couldn't smell a thing. Two thumbs up.

I did not check the size of these before ordering. I thought they were the same as those I previously ordered. These are too small for almost anything. I found the larger size to be very useful for litter scooping. Contains the smell well.

We use these as dog poop bags. I was starting to dread opening the lid to our dog poop bin every time I had to drop a poop bag inside. I had to hold my breath every time it was opened. Our dog poop bin doesn't smell when closed, but when the lid is opened, the smell makes me want to vomit. Many smells make me want to vomit, I have a sensitivity to smell and a quick gag reflex.To save money, we still use regular poop bags during walks, but we then stuff the multiple regular poop bags we used for the day into these special blue BOS bags. I can fit about two or three regular poop bags into one of these blue ones (it varies based on the poop load) and with no air in the bags. You have to tie a tight knot to seal out the odor. When I open the lid now, I don't smell the poop.

The description did warn me that it might be too small for the poop scoop and it is, though still usable. Next time I’ll get the larger size which will also give enough material to knit it easily.
